Kotobukiya has revealed a new Star Wars Statue. Their newest reveal gives us a look at their upcoming Star Wars: Return of the Jedi - Boba Fett ARTFX+ Statue.
A Kotobukiya Japanese import! The galaxy’s most feared bounty hunter returns to the hit line of smaller scale Star Wars Saga Collection ARTFX+ Statues! A clone of Jango Fett and one of the freelancers chosen to hunt down Luke Skywalker for Darth Vader, the armored jetpack-toting mystery man joins the ARTFX+ line in a new version representing his appearance in the final film: Boba Fett Return of the Jedi version! With an all-new sculpt and paint scheme this is a great successor to the previously offered Empire Strikes Back Fett. Cold and calculating, Boba Fett is never encountered without his full suit of Mandalorian armor and trusty blaster rifle. The armor plating over a full-length bodysuit clearly shows the wear and tear of a life of crime, along with all of the personal touches added by Fett over the years like the cape and unique built in weaponry. The bounty hunter is a perfect likeness of the character specifically from Return of the Jedi, down to the correct colors on his armor and cape. Boba is posed in a new fighting stance and comes with interchangeable parts so you can display him wielding his iconic blaster or preparing to fire his wrist-mounted gauntlet weapons! Like all of the Star Wars ARTFX+ statues, Boba Fett has magnets in his feet for extra stability on his included display base. ARTFX+ Statues are fun-to-assemble pre-painted snap-fit kits that can be easily put together in seconds without glue or modeling skill. Boba Fett stands over 7 inches tall (1/10th scale) and looks great displayed alongside all of the other Saga Collection statues!
Available November 2012.

Welcome Toyark members! Today we have a new round of answers for the MattyCollector 2012 Q&A. Check them out below:
1) With the cancellation and restructuring of DCU Allstars, what will become of the two-packs, such as Sinestro Corps Hal Jordan vs Blue Lantern Kyle Rayner? Have they also been cancelled, or are they still being released as planned? A)There are no current plans for the 2-packs, but we will always continue to explore ways of producing the most compelling collector offerings. Thank you.
2) This question was posted by a member who encountered difficulty in ordering from MattyCollector.com: When is MattyCollector going to get a WORKING website and customer service team?? In January, I noticed that my credit cards were expiring soon so I changed them to an updated one over the phone and told them that I needed these attached to my subscriptions. I ALSO did this online via their website as per their instructions over the phone. It was verified that this was done. Fast forward to today. I get an e-mail from Matty that my Club Lion Force figure didn't ship because my card was declined because they used my OLD credit card. Furious, I called Matty and they tell me that it was "fixed" but it will be delayed by two days when their "automated" system tries again. A) We are constantly upgrading our website to improve the buying and shipping experience. A new US based CS group is now in place and a subscription page to manage your account should be launching before SDCC (we hope! Still de-bugging it). Nothing is more important.
3) With the canceling of Young Justice 4" figures, is it the end of your efforts, in the 1:18 scale? Or can we expect a different body / articulation / approach in future DC figures thereof that scale? Next year witnesses both the new Man of Steel film AND Superman's 75th anniversary. Its TWICE the media buzz / opportunity to take advantage of a new line of possibly better 1:18 scale figures... A) Our efforts are never-ending, and we will continue to explore various form factors and scales. We are not making any announcements about 2013 Superman product at this time. Thank you.
4) With Brock Lesnar now back in the WWE, has work started on a WWE Elite figure of him? A) Well in this case we’ll make an exception: YES! It is turning out awesome.
5) The 2002 version of Teela was a fan favorite character from the cartoon. Since the 2002 style for head sculpts won't be used, is it possible to get a MOTUC figure of Teela, based on the 2002 costume but with a head sculpt using the current style that the 4H uses? A) It is always "possible" but their really aren't that many differences and when you "Classic-size" the 2002 outfit it is really close to what we have now.

NECA has posted a new photo and some info for their upcoming Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Ezio Onyx Figure.
He’s a natural born killer
Not that Ezio Auditore — the main character in Ubisoft‘s mega-franchise, Assassin’s Creed — was lacking for “sneaky,” but we thought it only fair to capture him at his most stealth yet. From Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood comes this all-new Ezio 7″ action figure in his Onyx Costume!
Released near the end of 2010 to massive acclaim from critics and gamers alike, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is the second installment in the huge and winding trilogy (it’s the third game overall in the series; pretty complicated) of Ezio Auditore. It’s a story of death, time, desire, power and, well, even more death, but it’s made for one of the most enjoyable gameplay experiences ever, already influencing countless other games, and NECA is thrilled to be able to bring you this figure that around the office we’ve given the codename “Ezio Onyx.”
It’s a fair enough description of what the figure is — Ezio in his Onyx Costume — but that’s hardly even the beginning of the story when it comes to Ezio Onyx. Standing nearly 7″ tall, he has over 30 points of articulation, from his neck down to the folds in his feet. Not only that, but Ezio comes with a crossbow and has three sets of interchangeable hands, in case one pair get tired holding that crossbow, he’s got backups at the ready!
It slices! It dices!
Coolest of all, just like his Ivory-Costumed counterpart, Ezio Onyx has retractable blades on each of his arms that reenact his trademark stealth attacks! What could possibly go better with a stealth-mode Onyx Costume Ezio action figure than retractable blades? The short answer is nothing. The long answer? Nothing twice.
NECA’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Onyx Costume Ezio figure hits shelves mid-June — though I hear if you check out NECA’s Amazon store, there are some available now. Keep it tuned to your favorite action figure wholesaler for updates on Assassin’s Creed and all your favorites games, movies and more!

Have you ever wanted to build your very own Star Wars figure? Well, at the Disney Parks, that wish is going to be coming true. Starting with the Star Wars Weekends (beginning May 18th), you'll be able to Build Your Own Droid. Read on for details:
Build Your Droid at the Droid Factory Coming to Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve dreamed of owning my own droid just like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. Granted, I also wanted to learn the ways of the Force, but I think having an Astromech droid will be slightly easier with the Droid Factory experience launching during Star Wars Weekends 2012. Fans will be able to build and name their own R-series Astromech droid action figures. I spoke with product developer Cody Hampton who said this experience was in development for three years!
“We began discussing the Droid Factory in 2009,” explained Cody. “We know that personalization is an important aspect of the popular build-your-own light saber experience. We felt the same thing could be done with action figures but on a much larger scale.”
Large scale indeed – the Droid Factory has 71 different pieces to create the 3 ľ-inch figures! To get started, guests chose a dome, a body and legs offered in a variety of colors and styles (Cody said that availability of various parts and colors may change). There are optional third legs and novelty hats that can be added.
“We wanted lots of options for [the Droid Factory],” continued Cody. “There are literally thousands of combinations making each droid unique. Guests can also name their droids with sticker sheets provided at checkout.”
Three domes – R6, R8 and R9 – were created exclusively for this experience at Disney Parks. Cody also told me the multi-colored ear hats were inspired by Jedi Mickey’s Astromech droid, R2-MK. Four additional hats arrive later this summer including a Goofy hat, a pirate hat, a fedora and a Yoda cap.
Droids will be sold either in single or dual packs (the latter has a value price). They can also be used with the playsets we’ve created like the Starspeeder 1000.
Cody and fellow developer Brad Schoeneberg built Astromech droids for this article.
“My favorite droid is named R7-C4,” Cody continued. “He has an orange body like my favorite clone trooper, Commander Cody. He wears the Yoda cap as a nod to the actual hat created in the 1980s when I fell in love with Star Wars.”
Brad built R9-EIU in honor of Eastern Illinois University, where he completed his bachelor’s degree. He explained, “[The droid] would have been great to have around while I was in school.”
I can’t wait to create one for my office. Happy building!

And if you decide to spend those credits on a frosty beverage at your local cantina, you can use DST’s first-ever Star Wars metal bottle opener to pop the top! The Death Star bottle opener measures three inches in diameter, putting the power of applied Force in the palm of your hand. Made of solid metal, it can fit in your pocket (wear a belt), or hang on your refrigerator, thanks to a couple of super-strong magnets on the back. Pre-order both of these items at your local comic shop or your favorite online retailer and look for them in stores this fall!

Domo fans, looking for some new figures? Looks like Mezco has you covered. They have sent along a press release about a series of new Domo Bobbleheads and Action Figures. Read on for more info.
Mezco' New Line Featuring Domo Bobbleheads and Action Figures Already Generating Early Buzz will Hit Retailers Later this Year
New York, NY, May10 2012 – Branded entertainment company Big Tent Entertainment and Mezco Toyz, a leader in collectable action figures, doll manufacturing and marketing, announced a licensing agreement for a new line of collectibles featuring iconic character Domo. The new Domo line, which is expected to hit stores later this year, will include bobbleheads, clip-on figures, action figures, and wind-up walking toys.
Mezco Toyz unveiled the assortment of new collectible Domo products to much fanfare at the New York International Toy Fair in February. The Domo collectibles also generated early buzz from some of the biggest pop culture websites including MTV.com and Electric Playground. The new Domo collectibles will be available at specialty stores later this year.
“The Domo fanbase is always hungry for new and exciting collectibles featuring our brown fuzzy friend,” said Rich Maryyanek, Chief Marketing Officer, Big Tent Entertainment. “This new line really captures the essence of the character and that was very evident in the looks of the faces of those at Toy Fair. We can’t wait for the public to have that same amazing reaction.”
“The unveiling of our Domo products at Toy Fair in February caused a tremendous reaction. Fans are clearly excited by what we have planned for Domo” said Mike Drake, Mezco’s Director Of Special Projects. “It is especially interesting to see how many people, even when they are unfamiliar with Domo, are drawn to the character and want to learn more. Domo just naturally makes new friends and fans wherever he goes!”
Domo’s unique look and personality as the mascot for Japanese public broadcaster NHK quickly catapulted the character into one of the Internet’s biggest sensations. As the reigning poster child for personalized, user-generated content, Domo has found a home as a pop culture icon within the online viral community with hundreds of thousands of fan-made images, websites and videos posted to websites such as YouTube, Facebook and Flickr, among others. Now more than a decade later, the lovable fuzzy brown character’s cult status continues to grow with product flying off retail shelves as well as a popular Facebook game called “Planet Domo” available at http://apps.facebook.com/planetdomo.

NECA has unveiled a second Portal 2 device that will be coming soon. The second versions is P-Body's Portal Device.
The NEW Portal Replica Is Coming
Time has flown by since we announced our partnership with Valve one year ago. With the release of the Portal device replica things have hit a boiling point – and this is just the beginning! We had high expectations for the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device, and thanks to the support of the Portal community around the world, these expectations were greatly exceeded.
Presenting P-body’s Portal Device
With Great Demand, Comes Great Responsibility
Over the last few weeks, we have received a large influx of feedback from the community. A significant portion of this feedback were angry comments from community members who did not have an opportunity to purchase the Portal gun. Receiving angry comments from customers is a situation we do not want to be in, and take very seriously here at NECA. To address this feedback, we are producing another 5,000 units of P-body’s Portal Device, and we’ll do our best to make sure it reaches those who were not able to purchase the original replica
If you are considering spending an absurd amount of money on eBay, we ask for just a little more patience. Next week, as we have done with the Portal device replica, we will announce approved retailers who will take pre orders.
TL;DR: Details for the 1st Co-op Edition
• New Portal Device replica based on P-body’s Aperture Handheld Portal Device
• 5000 units will be made
• Lights are Orange and Red
• Replica shell features yellow racing stripes
• Sounds and trigger action will remain the same as the original Portal device
• Approved retailers will be announced next week

Kotobukiya has released images of an upcoming Marvel Hawkeye Classic Avengers Fine Art Statue.
Created in 1964 by Stan Lee and artist Don Heck, Clint Barton was an orphan working in a carnival who learned archery to become a master marksman. After dabbling in crime he chose the path of righteousness and became a costumed superhero, working alongside the Avengers for years and gaining huge popularity among Marvel’s readers. Barton joins the original trio of Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man in his iconic original costume: Hawkeye Classic Avengers! You’ve seen the latest incarnation of Hawkeye in the Avengers film and now you can celebrate his classic look in this amazing new fine art statue.
Wearing his traditional dark blue and purple costume, Hawkeye defends the Earth from the greatest threats with a smirk on his face and the Avengers to back him up. The master archer stands on a rocky outcropping, resting his right arm on his knee as he surveys the battlefield looking for his next target. The hero’s sculpt really captures the character from the features of his classic costume to the subtle details of his pose like Barton’s thumb testing the edge of his bladed arrow and the flowing movement of his cloth-like tabard. Every element of Hawkeye’s classic costume has been recreated from the skin-tight cowl with pointed mask and “H” logo to the scale mail-like chest piece, bracelets, and retro cuffed boots. And while he holds his trusty bow and one arrow at the ready, look closely to see that the hero’s quiver is still fully stocked! As a special addition, Hawkeye’s base even includes the severed arm and head of Avenger’s foe Ultron, with an arrow sticking out of the robot’s eye for good measure.
Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Classic Avengers Hawkeye stands nearly 13 inches tall (1/6 scale). His rocky terrain base matches those on the other Classic Avengers, the previously released Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man so you can display them individually or as a team!
Available November 2012.

Are you a fan of the God Of War games? Like them enough to want action figures? Thanks to Toyark boards member Mr Meyers AFRS, we have a review of the Play Arts Kai God Of War Kratos figure! Is this a figure truly worthy of the God Of War? Read on!
It's the start of a new month, and a new round of MattyCollector 2012 Q&A answers!
1) Mattel. It seems 3.75 lines tend to hurt your company by poor sales. From the canceling of Infinite Heroes, the clearancing of Green Lantern basic figures, and also the early price cutting of the Young Justice 4 inch line. You hired away the Four Horsemen from Mcfarlane Toys long ago to help with larger action figures. Can you do the same thing today by hiring some designers away from Hasbro's better Marvel Universe lines of great 3.75" figures? A) An interesting thought and something to consider, although scale might appear to be a correlated factor, there are other factors with a lower p-value in this regression that ought to be considered (figured I’d get you to brush up on statistics =)
2) Is it at all likely that we'll see a New 52 Batwoman figure in the future (if not near future), or would the [unfortunately] controversial nature of her character prevent one from going into production? A) We don't consider Batwoman to be controversial at all. She is a great figure we'd love to get to one day.
3) Black Shirt and Blue Jeans Superboy. This is the most Sought after outfit. Is anything preventing this design from being used in the 6 inch Young Justice Select Series line? At this point, there are no plans to release him. Sorry! Additionally, we will not be continuing YJ on Matty.com in any scale (at this time). We tried a similar brand, JLU, in many form factors (singles, 3 packs, 4 packs and a 7pack of all new figures) and none sold well enough. This makes it a bit harder to continue YJ online. A toyline like YJ really takes Mom and Kid interest to keep it going. We cannot keep the line like YJ going on collector support alone. JLU proved this.
4) I hope this constitutes as a valid question, but did Matty collector scrap those 3.75" Super Deformed Masters Of The universe toys they showed off awhile back? They looked really cool. A) Not in the least. We are still looking into these to see if there is a way to release them. No set plans right now.
5) With Ras Al Ghul appearing in the movie, is he finally coming to the Movie Masters line? A) No plans to announce right now.
Following the Robot Spirits Nu Gundam release will be the introduction of the rival Sazabi MS into the Robot Spirits series- collect both to re-enact iconic battles in “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Count...erattack”! The Robot Spirits Sazabi features massive proportion, unprecedented levels of articulation and moveable parts as well as a full-armament of weapon accessories including:
beam shot rifle
beam tomahawks
beam sabers
