Does anyone know if you can buy or even make a custom 1:18 scale Portal gun? I think that would be cool to have! Maybe then I could make some figures to go with it!

don't know of any. From memory the Marvel Showdown figs came with some spring loaded weapons and about half of them look like a good starting off point to sculpt on top of. Kind of like a lobster claw shape.

I mean 1:18 scale or 3.75 in. figures. Those are 6 in. from the looks of it.

showdown figs are around 1:18. They came out a few years before universe, had about three waves, and then were canceled. They have a similar number of joints to legends, but are very loose, hard to stand up, and their legs like to pop off at the hip. Arms too sometimes.
Some of the figs are awesome and remain in my collection along side the Universe figs (like Colossus and Daredevil). Others are so flimsy they are only good for parts. Check out the pics of the launchers, if you think you want to use one but don't want to buy any of the figs, let me know. I've got spares. |

Most of the ones I saw were just an IM2 style rocket launcher. But the one that came with Spidey and Venom had a beak shape at the launching end. Is that the ones you meant?

so what I would do is cut the top claw off. Paint the bottom claw white. Add a small canister shape above it, and maybe make the three little arms out of wire? Like I said, it would take some sculpting. |

So after I found the launcher I couldn't help myself. Here's a rough start for what I was thinking of.
Now that I have it going, it looks a bit big, but if I get really happy with the look, I might reduce it down. |
