This wave is... Horrendous. Unless Iceman and Magneto are redos, with new, more unique and accurate molds, no thanks, Hasbro. And even then, that's pushing it. And to think, it was such a stellar year.
The only thing this wave has going for it as of now, until pics, for me, is the Astonishing, AKA current, Wolverine. |

Either way we will have a cool Tony Stark head to use. I have a strong feeling Magneto will be redone primarily because he uses the DD mold and that mold is no longer in use. Iceman will probably most definitely be a redo as well with a possible variant. All speculation of course but I think it's pretty sound |

Iceman better be classic for I can start a First Class roster. Absorbing Man...What? Astonishing Wolverine, I feel bad for guys who spent an arm and a leg to get the XMO one. Magneto. Redoo or bust. Not terribly excited. Maybe Magneto will be Ultimate?

For serious guys, lay off the hate lol.
YES Hasbro has produced these figs before But we bitched at them that they sucked and we didn't like them. And they heard us and they are obviously trying to make it right. This is the wave of redemption for past wrongs. Yes, they aren't giving us anything brand spanking new or odd but look at the previous 4 waves and comic packs and sister outlets. Crossbones, US Agent, Bucky Cap, Guardians of the Galaxy, New Iron Fist/Powerman, X-23, Dr Strange, Darkhawk, Commander Rogers, Skaar, Gladiator, Cable, and more that I'm probably forgetting. I think that its appropriate that they take this time to redo somethings for us |

Me too. I'm just worried that it will be an exclusive to a con or something. knowing my bad luck. At least we are getting the Guardians of the Galaxy, thank god. Will I find it at retail? Nope, but that's why we are all here! I am personally sad with the lack of a new Daredevil, and we are getting ABSORBING MAN? The comic pack one was good enough for the character that he is. Daredevil needs to be redone asap.

Agreed, he wil come in due time, however there will be more then likely atleast 1 variant amongst the bunch either a solid and seethrough iceman, or wolverine colorings, the tony stark iron man has me curious as I'm a big IM fan and will definatley buy it, the question is how many, if the headsculpt is done well I'd be a bunch just to swap out with other MU/IM2 figs.

Magneto is most likely a darker recolor. Absorbing Man is another recolor but probably this time the absorbed side will be on the right. Tony Stark Iron Man current with just a new head? Iceman clear version most likely. I liked the 3 pack one so I foresee not caring about this one. Looks like a filler wave. Last edited by Autobot_Goldbug; 06-29-2011 at 09:22 PM.. |

Also, I'm very much hoping for a different body for Magneto, and a better paint job on Absorbing Man. Iceman I can almost guarantee will be a re-pack of the Origins one. |

Iceman may also be the version from the three pack.
I have that version- it's okay (not a big Iceman fan). Also for preorder... Ultron x1 Darkhawk x1 Sub-Mariner x1 X-23 x1 Steve Rogers x1 Product Number: HAS20665 This I'm looking forward to more than that mostly-repackaged Steve Rogers wave. I wonder if that Tony Stark Iron Man is the one that was supposed to be part of the IM2 line....probably. Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 06-29-2011 at 10:28 PM.. |

this is very BADDDDD LINES !!!!!! even we dont have the official picture, we only have tony stark that is new, the others already release before, i think this line will be suck and not many people looking for it, except they who dont get the previous figures. i hope this lines will revise later, cmon hasbro you can read from the books for all character marvel universe that are still many not release yet, give me the new and fresh figure not always reissue figure

Well, I guess i'll hold off judgement until pics are posted from comic con, but the initial line up sounds weak. It is all characters that have been made before. I do want them to remake some of the first, lower quality figures from the line, but not a whole series. I suppose if it something like a REAL modular iron man and different takes on the characters, it wouldn't b so bad, but that's not Hasbros style.

I agree! *high five* I think everybody else hates this wave though. LOL.
Me too! Especially Magneto! But even if they are not I will probably pick them up anyway and keep them carded... if they are new molds I will open them. |

Why am I annoyed? Because EVERY figure here has been released, when Zemo, Kang, Sinister, Domino, Wasp (full size), Uatu, Sharon Carter, Skurge, Xorn, Bastion, Hope, Rogue, MODOK, Strucker, Toad, Avalanche, Pixie, Phantomex, Sin, Faustus, Leader, Abomination, Jigsaw, Kingpin, Beast, Elektra, She-Hulk, Red She-Hulk, Wendigo, Northstar, Valkryie, Machinesmith, Korvac, Whirlwind, Sandman, Hydroman, Malice, Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn, JJ Jameson, Diamondback, King Kobra, The Hood, Madame Masque, Ghost, Songbird, Penance, Justice, Asp, Mamba, Outlaw, Bob the Hydra Agent, T-Ray, Hercules, Marvel Boy, Ares, Hela, Nova, Batroc, Xavier, Nate Grey, Sugar-Man, Stryker, Tigra, Haze, Hazmat, Finesse, Mettle, Reptile, current Hank Pym, jocasta, Sebastian Shaw, Black Queen, Goblin Queen, Onslaught, Rikki Barnes, Dum Dum Dugan, Polaris, Bishop, Black Cat, Scarlet Witch, Emma Frost, Toro, Photon, Purple Man, Attuma, Nuke, Arnim Zola, Vulture, Spymaster, Scourge, Mister Hyde, Mr. Negative, Hammer, Hammerhead, High Evolutionary, Jack O'Lantern, Arcade, Grim Reaper, Beta Ray Bill, comic Warriors 3, comic Sif, Baldur, Malekith, American Dream, Cloak, Dagger, Living Lazer, Aleksander Lukin, Moonstone, Sauron, Mockingbird, Echo, Kraven, Dazzler, Longshot, Paladin, Misty Knight, Trauma, Quake, Weasel, Patriot, Hulkling, Wiccan, "Hawkette", Ka-Zar, Shanna, Cloud 9, Prince of Orphans, Master Man (sans swatstika, of course), Alchemist, Gyrich, Tempest, Blink, Cannonball, Danny Moonstar, Dracula, Jubilee, Deathbird, Husk, Stepford Cuckoo, Dark Beast, Blackheart, Mephisto, Mother Night, Chamelon, Crossfire, Deathlok, Deathstrike, Lady Bullseye, Phantom Rider, Mimic, Holocaust/Nemesis, Son of Satan, Satana, Sersei, comic Odin, Mach-5, Komodo and Tarantula have not.
Including their own toylines, there has been 65 Iron Man toys, 6 of Cyclops, 19 Thors, 20 Captain America toys, 34 Wolverine toys and 69 figures of Spider-Man, give or take a few miscalculations, based on Wikipedia lists for the current and recent toylines. 213 figures of 6 characters in, what, 2 or 3 years? If we take the average for 3 years, every MONTH we have received SIX figures of these characters, BASED ON MATHEMATICAL AVERAGE. That's a wave EVERY MONTH that could have been of the list above. Food for thought. |

is this a throwaway wave? I literally have all of those characters. Depending on the look I may not get any of them. .
Tony Stark Iron Man - I'm curious to see this one. Is it tony stark with snapon armor? is it just a unmasked ironman? I might get Iceman - Hasbros already given us 2 Icemans. I LOVE the XMO Iceman and I dont see how a new one could appeal to me, unless its modern iceman with hair molded and shorts. Absorbing Man - why would they make this guy when they already made a great version of him. I swear this guy is gonna be like Wave 3 Doom, a Repaint. Astonishing Wolverine - This is good for everybody else, but I already own the XMO version. Though this one will come with a stand and may not have those terrible XMO feet holes that suck on all stands. will a stand and displayability make him worth it for me? Magneto - Well, this one could go either way. Repaint of the first Magneto, or could be using a new mold and look better. maybe removeable helmet. All in all, This is a disapointing Wave. very disapointing. I can think of 3 of these figures that could be replaced with, I dunno, anybody! I'm still waiting for my Shehulk mold. But when I look at other 4 inch lines, this seems to be the norm. Star Wars constantly rereleases characters, though thats cause they have made nearly everybody you can think of. GIJoe on the other hand. There was the 25th Anniversary wave 12, which was essentially repaints and comic pack characters. I'll wait till I see these before I commit to any. But I'm not happy about this. |
