QMx has been producing a line of animated inspired mini statues for a while now called Q-Figs. They feature kid-like representations of popular characters with a twist. Most come with a dry eraser enabled speech bubble and a pen so you can have them say anything you want! Perfect for sitting on your desk if you want to let Superman tell your co-workers to stay away ’till coffee is done. So far they’ve released Q-Figs for DC, Marvel, Ghostbusters, Star Trek, & The Big Bang Theory – with more to come. Overall
These guys are a fun little addition to your themed action figure shelves. It’s nice to get something different in there every once and a while. I personally wouldn’t go full onwith these guys, but for core characters which I focus on I would definitely pick one up (cough Batman cough). I did dig the speech bubble aspect, I’ve been writing stupid things all weekend and leaving Batman around the house. Build quality is solid, they feature well done paint throughout with a mix of dense plastics. Bottom line, they are an awesome filler piece for action figure collectors and have the potential to be a line one can focus on so long as QMx plans to keep going with them, which as of now it seems they will be.
