The folks over at Disney and Lucasfilm graced us with a second trailer for Solo A Star Wars Story last night and to celebrate we are dropping Star Wars galleries all day, starting now! First up is a set for the 3.75 Inch main line Kessel Run Millennium Falcon. This is a kid / casual focused release with gimmick features. It takes it’s look from the ship in the new movie, showing what the Falcon looked like early on in it’s days. It has plating all over and pieces that are no longer with the ship and I am sure we will find out how that came to be in the movie. The Hasbro toy comes with Kessel Run Han Solo and it features lights, sounds, rumble effects, pop-off plates when it goes into hyperspace mode, smugglers hiding spots and an opening cockpit.
Overall this is a great add for kids. I had one as a kid 30+ years ago and every youngin from this generation has a God given right to have one too. The lights and sounds are based on movement, so you can swoosh it back and forth and it will react. There are three stages of button presses that get you going faster and faster until finally it hits light speed and the panels pop off. Not to mention a separate button for missiles and lasers. Oh, and it knows when you are taking off and landing and makes sounds for that too. Bottom line – fun for kids, and adults who pretend they don’t care about this type stuff :).
