Today we are taking a look at the main Star Wars Black Series SDCC Exclusive set – Han Solo Exogorth Escape. The set features Han in his Bespin outfit, set for release (and out in some places already) by himself without the extras. Those extras are – An extra pointing hand, a hydrospanner, breathing mask and a Mynock. All are well done and perfect ways to spice up the exclusive set. The packaging also doubles as a mini diorama for the exterior of the Falcon where the crew ran into the Mynock and realized things weren’t as they seemed (40 year spoiler alert).
This version of Han is super sharp, featuring Hasbro’s new face tech and a great Harrison Ford sculpt. The body also captures all the key points like the blue jacket, pants with yellow blocking and has standard solid Black Series articulation. The new attention to detail and these heads and face paint make Black Series fresh again, I can’t wait for them to keep pushing out these OT characters with the new tech. And maybe some old ones with new heads please. :)
