Godzilla: King of the Monsters – King Ghidorah Figure by Hiya Toys

Hiya Toys has updated with new photos and more details for their upcoming King Ghidorah figure. They had shared a preview photo for the figure about a month ago. The figure is based on King Ghidorah’s appearance in 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The figure stands about 13.7″ tall, with a wingspan that measures 22″ wide. The necks for the three heads have about 27 points of articulation each. The wings have 10 points of articulation. There are multiple articulation points on the legs, torso and tails. Display stands are included for each wing to display them spread out.

The figure is due for release in the Third Quarter of 2023. Pricing has not been announced at this time. Hiya Toys states the figure is only available to pre-order in Mainland China. Chances are, this figure will be available in the US as well. Hiya’s previous Godzilla figure announcements have featured the same notice, and still went up to order outside of China. In the film Ghidorah is first seen frozen in Antarctic ice at Outpost 32. He was freed by Emma Russell and Alan Jonah’s team as part of their plan to manipulate the Titans and renew the world’s ecosphere. Proving impossible to control Ghidorah with the ORCA, he temporarily succeeded in usurping Godzilla’s dominance, spontaneously awakening the other Titans and commanding them to begin destroying both humanity and the world’s ecosystems.
