The original images and details showed a plastic figure with no fabric outfit, instead opting for a standard action figure approach, with exposed joints. This made the figure stand out against nearly all other human figures that Hot Toys has released, most of which feature tailored fabric costumes.
Hot Toys has announced a change to the Spider-Man 2099 figure, and they are modifying the figure to feature a fabric costume. The figure will feature a stretchable fabric with luminous reflective patterns. No images have been released just yet. You can check out the statement below.
