What did you use to sculpt there? Is it cured or air dried?

I mentioned how impressive this is over on the Onyx forums but I'll say it here as well:
BEST. ARES. EVER. Just to recap, that's a classic Thor torso (same torso for both SW and Avengers box set?)...but I forget where the arms and legs come from. I'm looking for the Halo fig the lower legs come from...but I might just use the shin armor from one of those deluxe cap figures and mod it a bit. Easier to find cheaply. But it's all worthless if you cant paint the hhel out of a fig like you can! Your painting is what sells your figs as the mini sculptures they are. Lots of drybrushing on the flesh areas? |

A question for any of you custom making artists out there...for anyone who has taken apart a torso or a pelvis in order to switch out a set of arms or to put a different pelvis on to put some different legs....what is the best way to seperate them? Razor? Dremil? Warm it up prior to seperating? What's your experiences?

Cheers guys.
And jmo i think its best to use a vice where you can and pop them nopen. depends on the figure though. some of them just wont pop like that. it just damages the figure. Its trial and error sometimes
