ALL. BOUGHT. SO freakin excited.
Another prediction: Those who've said they, "would never buy 1/12th Joes because..." will buy them. And act like they never said 1/12th Joes was a bad idea. |

^ LOL. There are also people that think it is a good idea, but they didn't win the lottery yet. If 3.75" Joes were still around no way could I afford to be buying Marvel Legends too.
I wonder if the value of 3.75" modern Joes will go up or down once the 6" Joes arrive. I have never seen anything tank in value like the 3.75" MU figs did and I'm guessing Marvel Legends was the main cause of that. |

I got this sinking feeling that if this holds up...with McFarlane offering "Build a Batmobiles'...Hasbro is going to offer "Build a HISS Tank or Cobra Pogo" in a similar scale to those vehicles to silence the vehicle critics. |

I'm sure we will...in between 2 different versions of Snake Eyes and Duke per wave. Oh...and Storm Shadow. Hasbro will feel the need for 20 versions of him as well.
That would be too easy for Hasbro. Cobra Commander will be a SDCC...or worse yet...Walmart exclusive. I got this sinking feeling that if this holds up...with McFarlane offering "Build a Batmobiles'...Hasbro is going to offer "Build a HISS Tank or Cobra Pogo" in a similar scale to those vehicles to silence the vehicle critics.

I loved the first 3 mini-series when I was a kid. The animation was top notch. "The MASS Device" mini-series actually had to be produced in Japan. US animation studios were not technologically advanced enough. Last edited by firmpulse; 01-14-2020 at 01:26 PM.. |

I'm fine with just figures. Who wants to take up a bunch of space with vehicles. Maybe a motorcycle or trouble bubble are fine even a VAMP or tank would be rad but dont really need them.

^ Force Awakens had that huge 6" scale Tie Fighter... Joes should get one giant vehicle too... have no idea which one though... Sky Hawk maybe? Or maybe the Fang.
Also would be nice to get some 6" scale Joe guns that my Legends figs can use. |

This is the main reason I'll keep an eye on this line, besides the occasional character like Firefly who could double as a goon.

Characters aside, the customization potential of this line should keep it thriving for awhile. Just wait for the news of the first ninja army builder...
Speaking of ninja, I truly hope we won't have to wait too many waves for Jinx. With the Snake Eyes movie coming soon, I have to hope she'll be in an accompanying wave. |

I really hope this goes one of two ways, really good new sculpts but in their iconic uniforms via Marvel Legends style and they sell well,...
OR Really good sculpts based on their animated series design and they sell well. Either of those ways will be successful, however if they go with an off the wall amalgam of a comic / realistic / animated design ( i.e. Sigma Six ) I believe that would hurt sales. |

Dorksidetoys just overhauled their website. One item of note is that GI Joe is listed in the header tabs which take you to specific product collections. I think the last time they had any Joes were the 50th Anniversary 3.75" figures. Seems like a good sign that new Joes are on the horizon (in some scale at least).

This is the most interesting picture to me as it shows the basic retail figure box within the exclusive convention packaging. And I really like what I'm seeing inside this retail box.

Yeah- everyone knew it was coming eventually- I just think the die-hard 1:18 guys were fighting it as loudly as possible. Personally I've never cared for M to L to XL vehicles so I've been looking forward to this for years. Now if we can get the RAM, JUMP, CLAW, and SNAKE to go with the 6in scale I'll be crazy excited!
