Not as impressive as the Figma version. Not sure this is a buy or not.

I've been very excited to see these. Really digging all the SH Figuarts stuff. I would assume we'll get a US release at some point? But I wonder if they will have the price jacked waaay up like the previous SH Figuarts Marvel (Iron Man/War Machine) releases?

Figma made a mark 43?
I mean with any new release of the Mark 43, we shouldn't expect much since the suit is literally a repaint. |

Mark 43 wouldn't be my first choice for a new 1:12 scale figure, 'unfinished' looking as it is, but if Figuarts is doing it, then it's going to be good.
Figuarts and Figma are the top figure builders on this scale IMO, striking a good balance between screen accuracy, quality workmanship and limitations of toy design. Figma did the Mark VII, my favorite armor model and my favorite figure on this scale. I won't buy without more pictures and reviews, but if the armor works well in the movie and the price isn't cosmic, I'll probably buy this one. I don't want to pay what I paid for the Figma, though. That was a one-timer; there will never be another Mark VII. |

I'd prefer the exclusive version with the extra armor bits and the Tony face, but that's even more expensive. |

I'm looking forward to this one. Although one of the main reasons I picked up the Mark 42 was for the couch, I really like the figure. I'm guessing this will have some Diecast?
One of my favorite Iron Man figures last year was the Revoltech Midas Armor. One of the biggest disappointments for me wasthe Figma Mark VII. The arm pads look bad, the knee pads don't work well, and I got one with wobbly legs.

I agree: the loose knee pad pieces are fiddly. I've dropped them on the floor in the process of posing. Fortunately, it's easy to reattach them gently, but better would have been to integrate the knee pad into the knee joint as a single piece of plastic. There are times when the best solution for a figure requires sacrificing a little 'screen accuracy.' The flexible plastic for the wrist guards is kind of annoying, too. Again, better would be to integrate the wrist guards directly into the mold for the hands. It's still my favourite figure, though.
I understand that the folks at Revoltech make good collector-quality figures, although they frequently distort body proportions as a way of 'leaving their stylized mark' on licensed characters. Judging by their popularity, the stylization appeals to many collectors. I'd like to see more models by Figuarts. If sales for this Mark 43 are strong, maybe they'll consider it. Damn, more figures to buy. I'm in for all three.
Glad I passed on the Figma Thor. A Diecast of Cap's shield and Thor's hammer would be awesome. Give Hulk a Diecast piece of wreckage and I'm all set.

Cool, am I the only one thinking that Bandai of Japan is the best if not one of the best brands for collectors?

I passed on Figma Thor but got the Cap & Iron Man, it's nice that these are different styled sculpts so I won't feel bad owning them all. And it'd be nice to have a Hulk figure that was only mildly veined rather than ridiculously so like most have been

The previous Iron Man was 6 7/64 inches (155 mm). The new figures should be similar, with the obvious exception of Hulk, who's bound to stand a couple inches taller.
I'm waiting for more close-ups before I decide to pull the trigger. |

That 60 price tag should include shipping.... Figures look good though. Captain Americas suit design is a little weird with the red just random.. Head seems to small.. Thor looks like anime and lord of the rings had a baby

Between these and the upcoming Marvel Legends movie Avengers, it's gonna be a pricy year.

I have been wanting a good set of MCU Avengers. I was debating whether to go back to the slippery slop of buying HotToys or not, but I think I might go with these guys.
