They want almost $600 for that bike? Geez.
And weird promo pics, they don't show Akira Kenada articulating at all, I thought it was a statue when I first saw it, and then zero pictures of him on or even near the bike. |

The pics are all 10 years old. They simply re-posted them. Since they are being released by separate companies, I wouldn't expect to have pics of them together. But, since these are older, you can find pics of them together via Google.

I would like to see someone reissue or create a new version of this figure and bike in 1/12 scale. Mafex/Figuarts/McFarlane hopefully?

I have the original of both of these. Kaneda is a pretty good figure. The bike is exceptional though. I’m hoping they reissue Tetsuo since I never picked up the original release.

That Kaneda looks like a $100 toy.
The bike looks very plastic for something that's diecast. It better be more than just a reissue at these prices... the original costs were like $190 for Kaneda and $400 for the bike. Last edited by amoneymoose; 12-25-2020 at 02:13 AM.. |

Is the bike remote control or something??? =^)
If this is just a reissue...I wish them luck.... Akira was ground breaking during it's time. They might get the nostalgia guy, who missed out... Is there a "BIG" market for the originals???... Time will tell....Me? I'm out. Again, good luck.

On head has the googles and one doesn't. There not removable and when you get him and the bike. Remove the bike rubber handles off first and then place the rubber through kaneda bike hands. If not you will split the hand open. As for the outfit, mine finally started cracking after all these years.
