I gave it shoulder and elbow articulation. The elbow articulation was simple enough once I understood the dynamics and used my tiny dremmel bits. Next is the wrists.
Here's a basic run down on how I did the shoulder articulation. It won't work for all figures but... I cut a 25th Snakeyes where the shoulder meets the bicep. I used blue only for demo purposes. I hollowed out the alien shoulder to make a socket and dremmeled a groove for the slide action as well as trimming the shoulder top down to allow it to raise. I glued the SE shoulder in the socket. When doing this, be careful to put the glue in the socket and not on the ball part. Only put the glue on the sides of the interior socket so it does nt interfere with the up and down motion of the shoulder ball. Wrist articulation: |

Very nice! I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time but wasn't sure how to make it work. Which Alien figure is that?

It is the McFarlane 1:18 scale. Believe it or not it was the one that the Predatr was throwing.

Here is how I did the hip articulation.
First I snipped the top part off of a T-bar. Then I dremmeled out a socket and using a pair of pliers, squeezed the remains of T-bar into it. (Always drill a smaller hole then you need.) Then I cut a Black Spidey's thigh about mid-way and tapered the bottom of this piece. I made a hollow pit in the top of the Alien thigh and inserted the Black Spidey upper part with Superglue. Then just snap leg onto T-bar piece. The joint will be covered by a skin flap similar to the McFarlane Resurrection Alien. |

Unfortunately I was unable to use the Alien's original legs as it was the one that is being thrown by a Predator. Therefore, I used Black Spidey legs from mid-thigh down. I also gave it ankle articulation. Now to just sculpt over the Spidey legs.

It's the McFarlane one that is basically a statuette with a Predator throwing it.
