Just saw a bunch "movie series" lizards and "concept series" spideys in Wal-Mart. From your guys previous post I'm thinking these are rare since I don't see them on any of your guys pictures.

Really not a fan of Spider-man, but woah the diamond select figure looks great. Might place a order for one. Saw the ultra poseable spider-man the other day and was not impressed. Looked "cheap"

They seem to be compared to the comic series. In the last week, I've seen the comic series in 8 stores, the movie series in 1.

Really, i dont know something about the paint the grey feet. Was thinking would be neat if it had magnets. But didnt say on the box. For $10 i rather put it towards the Diamond Select Spidey, that looks like a great figure.

I almost bought 3 Ultra-posable today when I saw them at Target. One to keep carded, and TWO to play with!
In any case, I picked up the Lizard as well. He must be a Wave 2 figure. Where does he fit in on the checklist? |

I got Ultra Poseable Spidey last week and if your on the fence about getting him... get him. He is awesome. Granted I live in PA and I got at a Walmart for $7.47 which is a good price considering he is more articulated than your Average MU. Too bad the other figs weren't like this.
I have the SDCC Movie Spidey and putting them side by side is kinda surreal. I already use the SDCC as my go to Spidey, I might use this new movie figure as my go to Ben Reilly Spidey since the new costume gives me that vibe. I would be more inclined to buy the other figures if they made more costumes like Scarlet Spider, and Iron Spider-Man. I have always wanted Spider-man figs in all is iconic costumes based on the same body mold. Ugly Venom figure BTW. I still like the first one better, especially since I added double hinged knees. |

I've actually seen a few Ultra-poseable spidermen and lizards but I decided not to get them as I figured they'll be in the $5 bin in a few months or so (boy will I be mad if they end up being super-rare XD)

I got the Mega Canon Spider-Man (or Normal Ass Spider-Man as my friend put it) Wednesday and if you can look past the articulation he's a really good looking Spidey. The sculpt is just about perfect for his build.

Just impulse bought Lizard mainly due to Walmart selling it for a few bucks cheaper than other stores, and boy am I disappointed. I already had pretty low expectations, but he's even worse than I imagined. As if swivel hips aren't bad enough, they barely have any swivel at all! Easily less than 45 degrees. So bad. Any direction you swivel his knee just doesn't work besides straight ahead, meaning he might as well have just had a hinge there.
The hands are positioned in sort of an upward pose, especially awkward looking when you bend his elbows. Come on, if you aren't giving them wrist swivels, at least don't point his palms upwards. The only articulation I'm ok with are his ball-hinge shoulders, ball head, and I suppose his tail does what it needs to do. Crap figure. |

Only need one more figure because of the huge disapointment in this line. The only ones i see worth getting are The super possible spiderman, symbiote spiderman, venom, green goblin, the lizard, and dr.octopus. I do wish they had the same posability as iron man 2 or thor figures.

I think he is referencing the name of a Figure ala Manga Spider-man which I assume would be patterned after the Spider-man from the Manga Line of books

Picked up the ASM Green Goblin last night and I'm surprised that I actually like him. Considering he stays on his glider for the most part, I don't even mind that he has swivel hips. The shade of green and purple on him look great and really "pop", much better than the MU one I have (Target 2 pack). Great overall sculpt and much better range of motion in the legs than the movie Lizard I was complaining about the other day. I'd recommend this GG easily.

I was at Walmart last night and saw a Floor Display Shipper for ASM" it had what I think is the Special Missions Wave 3 case in it. There was a "Phasing" Lizard in there that looked pretty sweet. His arms and legs were phasing out. Might go back and pick it up.
