Imo you can kind of tell how a movie will be by how much Hasbro pimps out the respective toyline for it(if they have the license). So....being as that is, I think the movie might suck.
These toys seem like a step back from the Spiderman line already on shelves...which itself was a step back...

I think Hasbro might be hedging their bets with this toy line. Based on the ones I saw on the shelves, I don't think they have too much confidence in it being a blockbuster and moving product.
Having said that, I'm seriously considering getting those Jumpstarters throwbacks simply for the nostalgia factor. Too bad the only place I saw them was at TRU and they wanted more than I was willing to pay. Maybe when they show up at Walmart or Target, the pricing will be more to my liking.

Aside from the super posable, those jumpstarters are the only thing I'm grabbing.
Like you said, for the G1 nostalgia factor. I'll use them as base fodder for updated Twintwist and Topspin. |

Is the Super Poseable Spidey the only collector worthy figure in this line, that we know of? And can anyone who picked him up post pictures? Is he really articulated, or is he "super poseable" in regards to this line?

The RC climber kind of looks interesting, when it becomes 10 bucks on clearance I'll pick it up. But ya the whole line looks cartoony.

Their Crotchs are so.......Mattel. I want that sexy Hasbro crotch thats in GIJoe and MU. If they are really worried about Price when it comes to our Toy Crotchs, why dont they do to Marvel what they do with GIjoe. Metal Crotchs. same swivel, but metal.

I will have to check my local FM. They usually don't get stuff until way late, though.

Found them at Fred Meyer in Vancouver WA. about 2 days ago (Saturday) as well, it's been a while since I've been to the store and I didn't know that their release was news. I thought they had been out a while already... Oops.

There's a few in the line I might pick up. I've already got the manga Spidey on its way cheaper than in stores though.
Tacoma is terrible for getting new toys. I can count on one hand how many times something I was interested in showed up at a decent time in any store.

This line has started to show up here in Australia and have to say the figures are below par for the dollars asked for them ($15.64 here)
