Yeah, I regret passing on him the one time I saw him. $11.99 just felt like too much.

That Spidey looks good for customs- take his lower legs with the rocker snkles and out them on the Capt britian comic pack Spidey (with thigh swivel!) and swap the forearms for that wrist articulatioon for the perfect web-slinger!? I've been saying that for the price point we should have an unmasked head to swap out- skip the file cards, bases or litlle art things! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 04-04-2012 at 05:46 PM.. |

I'm also wondering this, it looks like they are, but they could be the same kind of joint, just attached at a right angle like some of the toybiz Marvel legends did rather than straight up like the im2 figs.
If they're the IM2 style I think I'll be passing. The figure looks fantastic, but I cannot stand the IM2 hips; they've pretty much ruined my enjoyment of all the figures I've bought that have them. |

I might be skipping lizard and will be skipping the TMNT base(it's sweet as heck, but I have no place for it). That would be an epic combo though definitely.

Definitely getting that Spidey. Going to wait for a good sale for Lizard. At least give him some damn ball hinge hips. Even the villains in the 3.75" Spidey line, which is supposed to be aimed more for kids than MU, have better articulation.

Hate the hip joints on Spidey, but I'll buy him. Lizard is an easy pass. Legends of these, please.

The looks of the Lizard have me worried for the entire movie. It's sad when a character design can have such an impact on the marketing...

Does it come with the "putty sole" posing accessory like this one does?

Yah, I mostly collect Joes, so I am used to clean lines on the thighs... the circular hip joint bugs me, so much so that I pretty much avoid any fig that uses the XMO type hip joint. |

I really don't think it matters. He's a anthro lizard. This interpretation is far more believable at any rate - just a shame the figure is about on par with Green Lantern...
