That's what the Lizard looks like in the new movie?
Hmmmm, he's not awful but his face is much more human looking than I was hoping for. |

SpiderMan looks like he's got all the right articulation, Lizard doesn't do it for me, aesthetically.
I'll stick to my Classic comic style Lizard, thank you very much. |

Just saw a couple 6-inch figs over the weekend at a Family Dollar. Decent sculpt on Lizard with about 6 points of articulation. Spider-Man was laughable.

Does he have the hip joints that the IM2 figs have? You know, the ones that you would have to rotate so the legs could go forward and back, then rotate again so the legs could go in and out?

Spidey looks like the same mold from the sdcc version. Best articulated spidey to date but this one may be better if he has rocker ankles. It looks like he does. Lizard is ok. I'd have to see it in person.

I'll definitely get that spidey figure, but he needs some sort of black wash or something. He's just soo bright and kind of weird looking in that solid red.
Lizard is okay. Should match the movie well, but I'll probably pass until he's clearanced. Then I might army build him to be the Lizard people the Curt Connors Lizard made in the comics. |

No man, I was talking about spidey having the IM2 hip joints, sorry I didn't specify which fig I was talking about . But I'm just disappointed that Hasbro decided to go with the t-crotch thing, it's just the movie spidey who has those ball hinge kinda hips, but I'm getting those two for sure.

No lab coat on the lizard is a shame. I really don't care much for the head. He should have a snout instead of looking more human. Unless of course this is just "a" lizard and not THE lizard.

Also the head might be sitting too high on the neck for my liking. |

If they're the IM2 style I think I'll be passing. The figure looks fantastic, but I cannot stand the IM2 hips; they've pretty much ruined my enjoyment of all the figures I've bought that have them. |

i don't mind how lizard looks. what irks me is that they didn't make one figure with the full articulation that the spidey one has.
also looks like it's the XMO/IM2 joint: definitely the only figure i'll be buying. Last edited by NoodleChow; 04-04-2012 at 12:32 PM.. |

... and they can't be bothered to put this kind of effort into the rest of the 3.75 Universe figures because?

Its the same one from the sdcc spidey. The only released mu figure to my knowledge that has double jointed elbows. Unlike the iron man 2 joints, he also has bicep swivels.
Looks like the new spidey has rocker ankles too. A must buy. Last edited by Symbiote; 04-04-2012 at 01:09 PM.. |

the lizards face on that figure reminds me of the head sculpts of one of the koopa soldiers from the live action mario brothers movie.

I think that this guy comes with interchangeable hands, the one shown at toyfair and in official pics has one webshooting hand and one fist while these pics show 2 open hands
