MY question for Valent and the rest of his team is what's the distribution channel you intend to use for the sales of the mech toys? Will it be through the traditional mass market channels, specialty channels like Diamond and comicshops, specialty online toy shops only or your own website?
I'm just making sure that up here in Canada I'm going to be able to purchase. =) |

Firstly id like to welcome The Armarauders team to the 'Ark!!! And to say thanks for sharing the awesome concept art and prototypes with us too!!! Cant wait to see these all painted up!! (Though just as an afterthought would you consider unpainted "blank" versions for us customisers???) As a resident of the UK iv gotta echo Yobusters question, how are you planning to distribute the line?? Because its becoming harder and harder to get ANY worthwhile toylines over here,so i dont wanna get my hopes up!!!

So, I gotta say that while I was looking at the progress pics I was thinking to myself, "Hey, that looks like Luka's work" and sure enough when I double checked the credits, there he was. If others are unfamiliar with his work you can check his site out here...
Kallamity - Pages I find his work to be absolutely amazing and a massive influence on my own personal projects. This guy does some stunning mecha kits with beautiful designs. The kits are pretty expensive and I've never gotten a chance to own one myself so to find out that Armarauders managed to secure him for this project I am very excited that finally, if by proxy company, I'll get the chance to own some of his work. Very stoked about this! |

Welcome aboard guys! Glad to see this happen, I've seen a number of startups come and go without even a sight of prototypes, but here you guys come already with some decked out and looking pretty far along! Toys like these have a lot of passion behind them. Eager to see more and being that you guys are toy fans as well as DON, I'm sure these will be a joy to handle.
Glad Don has a lot of control too, from what I remember, when he worked with Hasbro for the WWI Titaniums they didn't turn out the way he envisioned. Don has almost full control But we both think pretty much alike. I understand his Titanium pains... |

Regarding distribution, we're still working on it. Of course we wish to get this out internationally. |

I love those designs and having a new entry in the world of ultra cool mechs is most welcomed since the US selection of robots and mechs is pretty limited.
Really like the huge toy but I was wondering if there will be things that are offered on a smaller scale. Display space is getting to be an issue after years of collecting things, and price could get to be an issue with so many cool designs. Plus I'm just sort of a sucker for smaller figures. Fingers crossed for this taking off big time because it seems past time we got a great mech themed series. |

And also, do you have any insight you want to share on assembling the crew you have on this project? Lastly; thanks for talking with the fans, we appreciate getting to speak with those who make it all happen.

They certainly are impressive!
Hopefully these will be affordable! Too often such quality comes with a cost beyond my toy budget these days! Regardless, I'l be buying at least one or two- to make an (easy) custom fully articulated Ant Man, baby! Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 03-10-2012 at 10:20 PM.. |

Don is awesome, and I love that he actually designs, engineers, and draws these things. Comic looks really fun too. They just look like they are going to be really expensive though.

That centaur is one of the best robot designs I've ever seen. Hopefully I can afford the toy when it's released.

After clearing with the Powers-That-Be at Mecha Workshop, I -- Dan Taylor, ARMARAUDERS comic writer -- have been authorized to promote a poster giveaway for the followers of the Armarauders Facebook Page. Here's the deal...
Once the Armarauders Facebook Page reaches 750 "Likes" five individuals will be randomly selected to receive a limited-edition free ARMARAUDERS poster (the one pictured). The posters measure approximately 23.5" x 33" and are of a heavy stock with matte coating and feature mecha-cool art by Don Figueroa. Current followers who already "Like the Armarauders Facebook page are eligible along with any new followers obtained at the time of the random drawing. The five winning followers will have the poster mailed to them postage paid. No purchase necessary. All decisions/results final. If you have any questions, ask 'em here. Now go out and recruit more people to join ARMARAUDERS: THE LAST BATTALION! |

Hope you folks haven't quit on us yet! I want to see what comes next!
I've also heard that you'll be reducing the current size of the figures...is this true? |

Not sure if there'll be an Armarauders booth at SDCC this year. The show is getting tougher and tougher to get into. Though, it is in the works for that show and others. There'll likely be some form of Armarauders presence. Personally, I've missed SDCC only once in the last 12 years or so.

The figures are planned to be reduced in size, but not much. I think the Cam Special Bellerophon is going to be approx 9" now. Also, a more articulated pilot is in the works with accessories. |

Nope. Haven't quit and there's no indication that we will. I just downloaded a mind-blowing page of Don's art for issue two that I wish I could share--but, I value my life.

Also how much of a reduction is it? I remember the thing being around 11" yes? Ca n you say anything about the asking price currently? A range maybe? Armarauders have updated their Facebook page showing us some refined concept art and a prototype of the minifigure pilot which is onlty 5cm tall (2 inches)
I was talking to the producer, Valent Wang, and he told me that this toy line will feature influences and homages to both MOTU and Thundercats plus a big influence from Centurions which you can see by the interchangeable weapons. There is still no official price but they are expected to release the main figure, the Bellerophon with the pilot, weapons for both and the Mech Stand in one package in Q1 2013. Go like them on Facebook and jump on for the ride |
