Hey guys, I thought I'd start a thread for each person who journeys over here to Toyark to create a post to introduce yourself. Feel free to post as little or as much as you'd like about yourself in our cool art forum! Who are you? What do you do? What toylines are you into? What inspires you artistically? Where do you work on your artwork? What tools do you use? What are some of your plans? Why not create some questions of your own and answer them?
I'll start: My name is Allen G, otherwise known as "superquad7". I'm an illustrator and a custom toy maker. Recently, I was interviewed in Radicons, TFW2005.com's custom TF section, as "Featured Radicon of the Month" for November. Radicons features an artist each month so the community can learn more about other artists. I'm mainly into TFs and TF customs, but I enjoy other toylines as well. I grew up in the 80s, so just about any toyline from that time period I enjoy to some capacity. I hope this thread can be a lot of fun! |

Hello! my name is Gary
I have recently dabbling into more customizing recently. I have done mostly GI Joe stuff recently, I have done a couple Alts (as well as having 4 Alts on the back burner) Still a novice, but, I'm really enjoying the learning curve, and try to learn something usefull with each custom. Once you get a few completed under your belt, it seems I you more confidence for future ideas. Instead of questioning if I could do something, it is more how do I make it happen. I tend to nitpick myself a lot, and tweak my customs, I have changed a few things already on my Sgt. Slaughter and Cutter I posted, based on some positive feedback. Though sometimes I also get in a rut and go 6 months without jack... I used to (and still do, occasionally) commission others to make my customs, now, I intend to do more myself. It certaily feels better to me looking something I made, vs. someone else's work.

Gary, you've been doing some great work as of late! Thanks for taking the time to share with us a little bit about who you are and what's going on.
Now, where are the rest of you ladies and gents? |

My name is Andy. I am a Super Moderator at TFW2005, and am in charge of their Radicons section. I started out as a regular forum mod back when Radicons was just that- a regular forum. At that time I wasn't even into customs at all, but my constant exposure peaked my interest to the point that I thought I'd give it a shot. Fast-forward a few years later to today and I am neck-deep in them! My To-do list far exceeds my decent portfolio, and my projects continue to gain in complexity as I go. Transformers are by far my primary interest, but I have interest in GI Joes and such too.

Hey peoples!!
My name is Eric, but most people call me PK....I'm a mod here and over at Radicons/TFW2005. I started bashing about 3 years ago. Alts were my crack at the time, and I sometimes find myself still taking a hit off the good old plastic crack goodness. I still dibble and dabble in the customizing scene, just not as much as I used to. I still got some stuff in the works though, so stay tuned!!....I plan not to disappoint.
