Rogue! Seems decent but I don't know if I'll go for her yet. Right now at 117 CP. Mr. F's costume upgrade looks pretty cool too although I don't have him. Maybe I'll wait for the other costumes/characters

I'm sitting at 152 CP and I'm hella reluctant to buy anyone cuz I know that when it's gone, it's gone. If they'd make CP's easier to obtain by abit, I wouldn't feel stingy with them, as it is I'm sad we never got a movie Spidey suit, so I'm saving up for his FF suit which I hope doesn't beak the bank. Feels like I'm just gonna sit there with as many as I can till enough Spidey suits come out or someone badass in my book like Venom comes out.

Anyone try out the new PVP? Kind of sucks in IMO....

yea i don't like the new PVP that much. i liked being able to choose who i fought. now they choose for me. but i do like the added EXP.

The new PVP blows IMO. Rogue isn't too bad but, like all low lvl characters she sucks ATM. Once she's a higher lvl i'll let everyone know how she is. Her lvl 2 Drain Essence isn't bad though.

The new PVP isn't so bad. Gives you meaningful XP now, and it's much more streamlined. All of the complaints I heard from people who don't game as hard as we do on this game were that PVP was confusing, when it really wasn't. Though I guess those complaints were heard, since most FB games are geared at the casual FB user.

If anything, what I don't get is that on the homescreen, where it says rivals. I noticed it said that a person beat me and became my rival, that person was me. Wat.

You know, self-abuse is the worse kind.

But seriously, I've been playing this game on-and-off since it debuted and I don't really like the changes they made to PvP either. But since I only use it to kill time while waiting on other stuff to process, it's not that big of a deal.

I really, really, really wish they would remove the gift acceptance limit. It's bullshit that I can send out well over 100 gifts daily to my Alliance friends but only accept 50 a day.

Yeah my gifts are piling up like mad..

On another note, do new outfits benefit you in any way outside of looking cool?

For one of the options, yes it's just a different look. But the other one actually changes the character type (same abilities, just different bonuses during fights). Sometimes it helps you mix and match better depending on the enemies, especially if you're going for team bonuses as well.

Look at the Stats tab under the costume. For the last few months, every new costume comes with new abilities. They've also begun retroactively adding abilities to older costumes that didn't have such bonuses.

Ms Marvel, for instance, adds a 25% chance to dodge attacks and take another turn Only if you're using her costume though.

As for Rogue, I would have preferred she had a real class. Generalists don't do anything for me. No strategy.

Also.. is it random when it selects your boss reward? Doesn't feel that way when I've replayed the mission 4 times this morning and gotten the 1 damm ISO chip EVERY TIME. ><

I have no clue how it is actually set up, but I think it's more of a forced randomness. By that I mean that each item has an assigned degree of probability, so the more common items tend to come up more often.

Imagine a bowl full of item names on slips of paper. Some items have their names on multiple slips, while others may only have it on one or two slips. Then you click "Go" and it pulls one of the slips. Guess which one you're more likely to get?

It was the same for me as well while my energy built up or if I needed it to accomplish it on the task bar, but now it's Fing Grind for me to do PVP...ugh.
They should let you receive gifts from each of your allies, 50 limit is what they should have done.

Item drops are determined as soon as you start the chapter. That explains why you would get the same item after getting the refresh error at the end of a boss fight. The roulette is fake.

They need to fix how you get CP. don't make it where you can farm them all day. But a least have some way to acquire them easier.

I have the biggest case of buyer's remorse after getting Rogue. I just bought into the hype of having to have her as soon as she came out and i did. After thinking about it, it sucks because I knew characters like Havok, Gambit, Magik, and Quicksilver were coming out and I rather have those characters. Not to mention i want the future foundation costumes...the Jim Lee cyclops, etc...

Plus its so hard to get cp these days, I wished I would've saved my cp because I definitely want Havok/Gambit and the costumes rather than Rogue.

I definitely rushed into buying Rogue.

I'd even like if you can send say 1CP to each of your friends a week. Kind of an encentive for having more allies. Let you be able to get more of the costumes also. I felt very reluctant to buy any character because I was hoping to save up for say spiderman or someone who is in the 90cp range

Well I wouldn't say that, I'm just not as a big of a Rogue fan as I am to the other characters. and with cp being so tight lately, it would've been wise for me to save it.

I will say that she has already received nerfs and she's only been out a day or two lol
