I'm probably waiting for a sale or clearance myself. I'm not sure I can put down that much cash for something that's going to just hang from the ceiling in my home office. |

pretty cool they are doing an unmasked captain america. i was thinking of customizing a head like that when the new fig came out.. i may not need to now. silly of them to put it on the old WW2 body. very strange

I sure ho[e so- it'd be stupid not to bring him in to fight the skrull invastion- a cameo showing him leading the military's response would be fine.

I agree, plus that is just one more figure they can eventually market. Whats up with the Thor figure's sculpt? It doesn't look good at all.

Why does that Parachute Captain America say "Comic Series"? That's a movie costume.

The price on the quinjet seems ok (probably much better at Target and Wal-mart, or on sale closer to the movie). The price for the Stark Tek Armors ... well, they will be more reasonable at Ross sometime in November.
Interesting that the Helicarrier isn't listed ... wonder how much that will cost? |

The Quinjet's wings look to be on backward- why are the flaps on the front?!?
It kinda looks like a penguin to me. |

I'm pretty sure Avengers continues from the end of the Cap movie. He's wearing his WW2 outfit.

I think I'm going to skip that quinjet. It just doesn't work for me as a single seater. The cockpit makes it seem weird too imho.
Definitely glad the 'hulkbuster' mechsuit IM made it in. I will be getting that gladly. Shame they pulled a 'toybiz' with war machine's though. (Ironman 90s toy series by toybiz had two mechsuits that got pulled last minute, then repainted and re-appropriated for X-Men(ironman's in wolverine colors) and spider-man TAS (War Machine's in spidey colors). Can't wait to get some of these figures though. Looks like TRU locally is starting to get ready for them too. They just put out the 'avengers movie packaging' repulsor array. Quote:
The triangle chest ironman says concept series too. So maybe Tony does stick to only one suit in this. It could go either way. Without the 'movie series' tagging, it's hard to tell what's made the final cut and what toys were just holdovers from early concept designs that didn't get used or footage decided on being redundant. Anybody else disappointed in the apparent lacking of any Hawkeye figures? Only figures I've seen of him are Select, Legends, and Mini Muggs... I get that he isn't nearly as popular as the big trio (Cap,Thor, and IM), but since he's now going to be a main character rather than just a cameo, you think they would have some product to support that...

Did not know that, thanks for the response. Any idea if either one will be available within the first two waves? If past experience with these Marvel movie toy lines has taught me anything, it's that I'll be lucky to ever see anything beyond the second wave, and maybe not even all of it's assortment.
