The only thing that could’ve made this set better in my opinion is if it came with a collapsed spear for the enforcer predator, an additional mask accessory for the bad blood predator as well as an extended smart disk for the enforcer predator. Other than that, this set is a must buy. I think I’m going to have to get at least two.

Great photo shoot as usual, blah, blah, blah. Seriously, Joe always delivers the goods so what else am I going to say?
Anyway, there's no doubting the quality of these figures and they're great for people who missed out on them the first time around, but they're an easy pass for me. I'm not wild about the design of Bad Blood - it's just personal preference - and Enforcer kinda bores me, as it's yet another barely-tweaked Jungle Hunter figure which has been done to death and beyond by this point. Shame, as his mask is really cool. |

Out of habit I just pull of those little wires now, I already know that they're going to pop or rip off, why not just get to the point and take them off myself.

Don't be so harsh on the Bad Blood Predator. He's not a blood thirsty maniac out to kill everything like you stated...he is simply just collecting DNA to further the evolution of his own species.
This is an easy pass for me as I have both of the originals as is, and having seen this up front in the stores I'm not really wild about the new masked and unmasked head sculpts. Also, I'm not saying that you are being untruthful, however I'd be curious to know what your definition of "paint locking" is. Nearly every Predator that I have purchased (since they moved to this upgraded body) over the last two years (with the Jungle Demon and recent Thermal Predator being the lone exceptions) has had a paint locking issue on at least one of the joints where I've had to apply a dense amount of heat and gently (as well as with a degree of anxiety) move the joint until that paint tore, allowing me to move the joint. This is an issue you seemingly never run into. One a side note, the figures do feel a bit more durable as of late than those that were released on the older body molds. I run into it from time to time, though not as frequently as some claim to. Some of my cases were the McFarlane Stranger Things Ghostbuster set, the Ahab Predator (I didn't mention paint lock, but did note that they had to be heated up for being far too tight), DST Ghostbusters. Hopefully that helps to see where I'm coming from. I tended to run into more loose joints than paint locking issues last year.

I hear ya. I try to keep them intact if I can, but it's been a losing battle with the last bunch of Predator figures.

Frankly, I'd rather deal with stiff/paint locked joints than loose, wobbly ones any day.
As for Predator wires, I've been lucky with them so far, but then again, I baby my figures when I handle them and typically don't move them at all after I put them on my shelf. I know some people can be a little more hands-on with their toys. |
