__________________________________________________ _____________ So I love the Secret Warriors book. Now that its over I've been trying to go back and make some of my favorite characters. Not sure what color Strucker's claw/gauntlet thing is supposed to be when it's not powered up/glowing. Also his monical is often shown red, but then when he takes it off it's clear glass...wtf. P.S. I sculpted over the holes by his knees and over a little of the lower leg joint so that they wouldn't bend backwards. Also sculpted thickness to the gun handle so it wouldn't fall out of his hand. That is soooo good. I don't get why Hasbro hasn't made a Zemo and Strucker yet.

Very impressive, I bet the claw and head sculpt were expensive though.

and. That's SO DAMN GOOD and I have the EXACT SAME BUILD done for over a damn year but my lazy ass has ot finished it- now I have to try and match that?!? You sir, suck. As to Secret Warriors, I'm right there with you man- one of the best comics in years- tahnkfully, daisy's getting some exposure both as the new SHIELD director and as an Avenger- she gave poor Norman Osborn a heart attack last issue! As to Strucker, it used to be a monocle, but Fury put that eye out a while back and now it's an implant. The SDS head uses the monocle for a :calssic" look, but I swapped out a small greeble on mine for a cyborg eye. The Satan Claw is always red metal but you'rs looks great both ways. How did you make the gold medallion? That's just aces, man- very amazing custom- one of the very best I've evr seen. period. Now I gotta go with the Jim Steranko look for Herr Baron- bug Hydra emblem on his chest and a long filtered cigarette! Here's my Secret Warriors Fury- our figs should fight (though you know what happened to Strucker in the comics!). Nick Fury custom! - Toy Discussion at Toyark.com hmmm...maybe I'll make Orion since they've brought him back to plague Fury ....and his son! You know what? You and I- we should make all three teams- Black, White and Grey- I'd pay real money to see Pierce's Black Team show up again and kill a hella lot of Hydra goons (again)! Jason, imho you should edit your post regarding Fury, I think this is quite a big spoiler for people that are not up-to-date with their reading.

Jason, bwahahahhahaha! I've also had this custom in moth balls about that long. Took someone else finishing theirs a couple months back to get me off my @$$. Great minds think alike. Sorry for the bad news, but that medallion and cords are aves apoxie sculpt. The logo is hand painted. No easy way to find that part.
As for Orion, I'm already parts gathering. Got a great head, and now I want a spare Captain Britain for the body. The list of characters I want to do after that are Alex (already have head and boots), Gorgon (have sleeves and torso), and the Kraken. Then maybe Daisy, John Garrett (mostly new Ironman armor body), and Druid. |

Then maybe Daisy, John Garrett (mostly new Ironman armor body), and Druid. I'm going opposite actually with my customs- I've got Nick and Dum Dum, Daisy and Pierce are almost finished and I've got Viper and soon Strucker! For Gorgon, there's a Target two-pack jedi with long hair, long sleeves and a kimono style torso- I just needs legs and the lower skirt to make him work. If you can cast me that Orion head, I'll trade you a Capt, Britian body. What head are you useing for Alex? I looked at all the Anakin figs from SW but not looked right to me. The various line's hydra goons really shine once you lose the harness part and tweak them a bit- http://pic90.picturetrail.com/VOL221.../398467707.jpg http://pic90.picturetrail.com/VOL221.../399001925.jpg http://pic90.picturetrail.com/VOL221.../397089407.jpg Y'know....I dont see as Daisy needs to be on the Avengers at all- first, her duties would get in the way, then there's all the superhumans (Caterpilliars) Cap does not even know about that work for her...and then there's all the killing that the SHIELD side occasionally gets into.... I've already got my Nick, Dum Dum, and random Shield agent (as you can see on [link]http://www.toyark.com/dumdum-dugan-89460/[/link]
For Gorgon I prefer the sleeves from the indiana jones random goons. Much flowier. I don't have the stuff for plastic casting, but the head I'm using as my basis is from the Microman line Acroyear Biom. I'd already used the body for other customs and the head had been sitting in a drawer for years. It's not perfect, but it's got a great shape and just needs a little sculpting. Those are some great Hydra figs. I unfortunately haven't come across more than one of the Cap movie ones, so I can't quite troop build. I also would love to stick a constrictor head and a Weapon omega head on those three pack bodies. Just realized the new Pirates of the Caribbean chick head would be perfect for yoyo. Lastly, sorry to do this, but I've been looking for the Alex head for almost a year and just found it within the last week. I'm keeping this a secret until I'm done with it. Everything else I'm glad to info share, but I don't want anyone to beat me to the punch. |

As to that head for Yo Yo, I consideed it- I have a couple, but was also thinking of useing it for Dani Moonstar from New Mutants. Hmmm...yo yo might work better with that hair though. I've got an extra hood and trenchcoat for Druid (slim badass version!) and might just go with the old ROC Duke head (plus goatee) since the hood will shadow it partly. I'll use a ROC Storm Snake Eyes body with a little Aves around the waist to bulk him up some... Stonewall is easy to do, but JT is gonna be a pain in the ass- what to use as the head? |

I'm bad at names of starwars characters, but there is this one guy in a trench coat. He has blond hair and a goatee and I think he was from a comic two pack. Right now I'm using the head for my DDP chuckles, but it might end up being my J.T. The smirk on it is spot on. Only thing bad about it is the hair has a bit more volume/ not angular enough.
Or you could use a Prince of Persia Dastan head. The skin tone is a bit dark, but the mold is pretty close. Hair might be a bit long in the back. |

Hmmm...goood choices there- I have that Prince of Persia head, but I was thinking more Pierce than JT- repainted a lighter skin tone, of course.
Funny hoe Pierce looks like a more mature and cleaned up JT...almost like how Daisy looks like Maria Hill's sister. |
