the silver surfer looks interesting, but lame at the same time cause it doesnt look like theres a place to attach him to the board.

though Im not into collecting the marvel figures what would be a cool way to attach the surfer to his board would be if they incorporated a magnet system into the figures feel and inside the board itself that the feet could attach to the board then there would be no need for pegs on the board keeping it clean.

...just a thought.

I highly doubt they're clever enough to come up with that.

If I remember Toy Biz did that exact thing with the Marvel Legends series 5 Silver Surfer that came w/ the Howard the Duck minifigure. They used magnets to keep him on the board.

Even if diamond select did come up with an idea like that it would still look crappy due to the limit of articulation on MS figures

It seems like the Surfer will be able to ride his board, BBTS have mentioned he has the capability of doing so on the pre-order page.

Quote:
A Diamond Select Release! Sculpted by Sam Greenwell! The newest Marvel Select action figure from DST is the Surfer of the Spaceways himself, the Silver Surfer! Inspired by classic appearance of the cosmic character, this 7-inch figure comes with his board, as well as a dynamic display base that allows him to ride on it or pose with it! This highly requested character will be one of the fastest-selling Selects yet!

I'm still on the fence about the PAK RE6 figures. On one hand, I hated the game. On the other, Leon and Helena's campaign was actually highly enjoyable up until the Final Fantasy boss fight. It did a good job of making me like Leon again after his "Dante" phase in RE4. They're so expensive too, though...
