I haven't seen the Mezco one 12 Batman make any lists. I don't see any in hand reviews over 10 months old on you tube. Did everyone else's copy fall apart or something?

I've only seen it in person once myself. I think it's a pretty good looking figure overall. But I wasn't a fan of the Dark Knight Returns style myself. Works as a grat representation of that style, tho. And for many, it's not the best Batman (lots of good ones) or the best One:12 Figure (Dredd).

My year was almost solid TFs otherwise I would post a list too. I just picked up Icons BM yesterday, I'm a straggler. |

I guess you only see who is on top after the dust settles. I wanted to get Dredd but I can't figure out how they managed to make the bike so expensive.

Yeah, when looking at the year as a whole, the Batman got a LOT of coverage and accolades, but many people thought the Dredd was a better figure. If Spock is any indication, the line is only going to improve.

Good Article, I didn't think that having a 1/4 scale category was fair because its only NECA that is doing them so far, and hopefully more will come along. Thanks Team,

True about the gap in price between Bats and Dredd. However, the Mezco stuff has a lot more going on with them comparatively. The Batmobile is an absolutely stunning piece to behold though.

While NECA definitely does the most 1/4 scale figures, both Comicave and Hot Toys released 1/4 scale figures in 2015.

I had the same thought! He's the #1 figure of the year for me. Here are my top 7 of 2015:

Thanks! I did a series of shots with each of the 7 figures talking about them a bit and posted to Flickr and Instagram:

I didn't collect much besides Star Wars 6 inch scale last year, but I thought the Stormtrooper was the best figure. To me the glossy white plastic really captured the look of the armor. I mean Phasma was a cool figure but SPOILER ALERT her character didn't do much of anything! Well except get trash compacted.

I think the One12 Batman was a great figure, got to play around with him a bit at Mezco near last Toy Fair. I did my top list based on figures I actually picked up, and I didn't get him. Not because it's bad, but because I don't particularly care for the look of the Dark Knight books.
Dredd was also great, but Destro grabbed him for the site coverage and I am also not that into Dredd. I may grab that Space Ghost if it drops. And the Spock looks phenomenal. I may grab him as a solo only Trek representation in my combo shelf line up. Industry speak - One12 is up there for Best New Line, if not the winner. |

They do look amazing. I kinda wish Dredd was more filled out but that is a tiny gripe.
