I'm a huge fan of Gremlins, classic movies that will always have a place in my heart, I don't have a collection of them by any means just a few old vhs tapes and an old Gizmo figure. I was surfing through auctions on ebay and came across this, limited edtion 1/1 scale, it's awesome!!! if I had the extra $$ I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Something about that is just...off. I think it's the shape of the head and mouth, looks to simian. Like if Bigfoot had a Mogwai love child. The size is awesome, the price, not so much. I'm happy with my NECA Giz.

I had a stuffed Gizmo when I was a kid.
He made a noise when you shook him up and down. I used to hug the shit out of that little guy. He got pretty gnarly by the time I was done with him.

Why does that sound so very dirty. Does anyone remember Furby Gizmo. That thing was cool. I have the Furby E.T though.

I'm too old to remember Furby Gizmo, and it sounds so very dirty because it was. But not just dirty, it was filthy as well.

Lol, I just posted on that in the Gremlin news thread haha. Yea, there is a trackball in the back of their head to articulate the eyes. It's a really neat gimmick, not so much on George though, his eyes are so squinty it's hard to even tell.

And I already have them pre-ordered at BBTS. That's my back-up plan in case I don't see them at retail. |

Meh,give me my old plush Gizmo any day -I got him stowed in the closet away from bright light, just like the instructions on him say-
sure this new one might look more detailed and cool, I like the plush one better. Still looks cool, Gizmo's a cool guy. |

^Unless your really attached to the sunglasses and carry bag, I don't see a difference between him and the regular version. I'd say save the money and just hit your TRU.
