Hi have (or will soon be receiving) Black Widow and Hawkeye 3.75 figures to go with my movie (Iron Man 2) Iron Man, movie Cap and movie Thor.
I'm not keen on the 3.75 movie Hulk - and have seen some pretty negative reviews of him - so was wondering what figure people would suggest as a Hulk for my Avengers line-up. I'm assuming the 6" Walmart movie Hulk will be much too big (and hard to get here in the UK) but was also wondering about the wave 18 3.75 MU hulk - he looks like a decent size. Any opinions people? |

Welcome! The Ed Norton Hulk toyline had some good 5 inch Hulks that would be great for 3 3/4 scale. Maybe a headswap to keep the Ruffalo ook, and the greens might not match so you may need to paint the figure.

Hank beat me to it. That's the best suggestion and there are pix floating around here that show that (LM? comes to mind).

I would go MU Wave 18 Hulk. The Norton movie Hulks are pretty nice too, but I sold mine when I got the wave 18 Hulk.
..and it's probably not what you're looking for, but my favorite 3.75" Hulk is still the TRU Avengers Base Hulk.

So you guys think the 6 inch movie hulk is too big? I have one coming from LM, I thought it would look better to have a bigger hulk.

That's a must have figure regardless of what scale you collect, but way out of scale to mix with 3.75" for me.

the one from the last Hulk movie, imho:
i really should take a picture of it next to the rest of my 3.75 figures. i feel like any of the previous MU hulks, new or old, are still undersized. |

Definitely the norton hulk above. I'm so happy I held on to this toy, it's perfect for the movie Avengers.

I like the new MU Hulk for my team, but I also agree, the Norton movie line figs go good too. My Ed Norton 3.75" Banner goes with them awesome too (the one that came with the Hulk "shell" that he goes inside of...)

Repaint the first movie's Grey Hulk green to get the perfectly sized MU-scale Hulk.

I picked up a lot of three dilffferent norton hulks. The blue pants became my default hulk. The hulk smash head I immediately broke off trying to head swap. I still have the gamma glow hulk if anyone wants it.
I gave the wave 18 hulk away. to a friend I like norton so much |

Speaking of the wave 18 Hulk, what you guys think about the eyebrows? I can't decide if I prefer with (comic pack) or without (single carded).

Here's that repainted Hulk- see how he's perfect for scale? The only Hulk you'll need.

I went with the 4 inch Rufallo Hulk head on the new hulk body. I used the one from the Avengers 4 pack and the colors were close enough to not be an issue for me.

Plus, with new Hulk being single carded, comic packed, and being in that 4 pack with Hawkeye and Loki... he's pretty easy to get ahold of. At least he will be soon, I hope.

To each his own. The norton hulk is about as perfectly scaled to my vision of the hulk as you can get. 6.75" at 1/18th thats 10.1 feet.
I like it enough that I gave away the wave 18 hulk the day I got it. |
