Just like the title says, who is in your opinion the best "all around" MU figure?take into account sculpt, paint app,and all around coolness.
I guess I will start it off,I would have to say apocalypse, just for the sheer awesomeness of the figure, the fact that they used the x-force armor was a leap but I feel it worked well, the sculpt was amazing and for the most part every apoc fig I have seen had a pretty good paint app, though Doom is my favorite character apocalypse takes this. |

Paint wise it is Archangel IMO. He just looks so cool inside of his package; I just wish he had an extra neck joint to look up for a flying pose.
But for loose figures IMO it is Ghost Rider... his articulation is awesome enough that he can actually straddle a 1:18 scale motorcycle adequately. Plus, I love how they handled the skull with flames look... which IMO is very hard to pull off at 3.75" scale. |

Shall I comment or find the old thread? I'm gonna go with Hulk... he's one of my newest and favourite. I love the way he looks and moves etc, he's amazingly poseable.

Which Hulk? I only have World War Hulk and I think he is epic awesome. Although, some people think that new upcoming Hulk is better (not me though, lol).

I don't have WW Hulk, I don't really like the way he looks like a Troll. I'm sure I'd like him if I had him though!

There are already a couple of threads on this and I made a thread not too long ago with best, worst over and Underrated. Search next time but everyone will comment to rack up on their forum points.

Dunno about others but I'm really not worried about forum points. I came here to talk about toys... and thats what I do. I've been on forums before where the points etc. become a big part of the forum. That's why my post count is so low after a month, I post between one and 5 times a day usually I think. (sorry for the off topic, just needed saying)

I'm probably alone here but mine is the X-Men Origins Astonishing Cyclops. I LOVE the character (especially this version), I love the sculpt, and mine actually has pretty spot on paint apps. I'm aware that the Jim Lee version is supposed to be awesome but since I haven't even seen one in stores so far I'm sticking with the XMO version.

If I ever get around to picking up MU Silver Samurai I might have to agree with you. LOL. He looks great, but I don't feel like basically paying $18 just for him, so I keep passing on him. Quote:

Jim Lee Cyclops and Silver Samurai! The detailing on the samurai's armor is fantastic! And the new 2-pack Deadpool, old XMO artic aside, he looks spot-on.

Overall? Man, that's a really tough decision. I just might have to go with either Wrecker or Giant Sized X-Men Colossus. Both are absolutely outstanding IMO.
