Hi guys. I wanted to get some opinions as to who is the best in filling their orders, on time shipment, great customer service, etc.
I ordered my last NECA Donatello from Kirin Hobby. They filled their order right before Christmas and I got the figure maybe on the 26th. Problem was that I tried contacting them for at least three days with no answer, Busy etc to get the status. I was considering a different place to order Raph. I know TRU got their Donnie in stock for a few weeks begore they were gone again. I believe I will try BBTS this time I hope to get experiences, advice, etc. Rather than anot argument about who is best. Thanks! Last edited by Bearjew; 01-07-2017 at 10:30 PM.. |

I've had an all around great experience with BBTS so far. They can sometimes get an item in a little later than the other stores but for customer service they've been awesome. A few times I've had questions about an order and they were usually pretty quick to respond. I've also heard a lot of good things about Dorksidetoys but I myself haven't made any pre-orders with them so I've got no personal experience there. I will say that Entertainment Earth is pretty bad with pre-orders though.

You tried contacting them for 3 days...right around Christmas???
that may have been the problem...some places are closed around those times. i don't know who is BEST....but i've NEVER had any issues with BBTS... great service...decent prices..good customer service...and the Bag o' Loot feature is great Dorkside - no problem

Yeah it was Christmas. It wasn't the first time. I had the same problem back in the fall. It took me a day to reach them. They were great once I made contact but it took me forever to reach them.

I've never had a bad experience with any of the ToyArk sponsors. I remember BBTS taking 2-3 days to respond to an email that I sent early last year, but that seemed reasonable: it was about toys, not airplane tickets or childbirth.
A couple extra days over Christmas seems entirely reasonable. Note that BBTS was closed from Saturday, Dec. 24 through Monday, Dec. 26 to observe the holiday season. Normal business hours resumed on Tuesday, Dec. 27 (link). |

Yeah, all of my experiences with BBTS have been great. It may take a day or two TOPS for them to respond to an inquiry (depending on whether it's during a holiday or not).
I've used BBTS, sideshow, amiami, and HLJ for preorders. HLJ and amiami both ship out pretty fast, and if you use EMS shipping (which I always do) it'll get to you VERY fast. It's worth the extra money in my opinion. I've never cancelled an order with amiami, but from what I've read, it's not an easy process. Sideshow takes a 10% deposit when you preorder with them, but that's fine for me, their customer service is pretty good as well. BBTS and HLJ are definitely the easiest when you want to cancel an order. |

BBTS is the last of a dying breed. That store is nothing short of outstanding. I've never had any sort of complication with anything I've pre-ordered from them, and their "Pile of Loot" option is a brilliant idea.
AND, I can't rave enough about their exemplary customer service. A few years ago, I purchased a rare-ish Transformer from them, and when I opened it, I discovered that the "hinge" (lol, I don't know the correct term) on one of the feet was cracked and warped, causing the foot to fall off the first time I tried to transform it. I emailed BBTS, and they asked me to send a pic of the defective area, and almost immediately after receiving that pic, they told me to keep the damaged one and that they would ship a new one to me through priority mail that same day. As much as I love Entertainment Earth, I avoid pre-orders through them at all costs, unless it's an item exclusive to them, of course . Any Hasbro pre-order through them (especially Legends and SW Black figures) will sit in limbo for months and months, while everyone who pre-ordered through BBTS, or picked theirs up at brick-and-mortar stores, is already enjoying their figures.
