I've been in LOVE with this Storm design since I first saw it in my "Ultimate Guide to the X-Men" book as a kid. The beautiful contrast between the silly white mohawk and the street-punk black leather is an image that never really left me, and I squee a little inside whenever I see it to this day! I just spotted the newest version to hit shelves in the Marvel Legends line, and I'm ready to bite the bullet and snag me a representation of this awesome design!
Still, there's been a LOT of X-men toys released over the years, and I'm a bit hesitant to just grab the first one I see. Were there any other toys of this design that someone thinks could be a better buy? I know words like "Best" are relative, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right? I don't know how many toys of this design exist (this is only my THIRD Legends toy!), so I'm kind of hoping others may have more knowledge of the options out there, and opinions about the posability, sculpt, and paintwork. Anyone care to name their favorites? Is this new one my best choice, or should I look into an older release, or maybe a version from another line? Hoping the better informed out here could shed a little light on this one before I drop $20 on the first shiny thing that catches my eye! ^_^ |

There is a 3.75 version in the MU line. She’s packaged with nightcrawler in the secret wars comic 2 pack #5. I wouldn’t say she’s any better or worse, just different scale. But as far as I know, those are the only two examples of that costume design in figure form. I want someone to do pics of her, spider punk, and the 80’s spike figure from the Buffy the vampire slayer line together.

It's really hard to beat the new ML Punk Storm, mostly because there's just not many figures of that design in existence, but also because there's very little I can think to criticize about that figure. Get her before she's gone!

The new ML punk Storm is awesome. Granted it's not one of the two outfits I would have chosen to do at this point, but once we got those two outfits it will be nice to have the punk one too.

Thanks all! Ended up picking her up. She looks so awesome, I ended up giving her a scale electric guitar she could rock out proper. XD
