Packaging is perfect. Most of the figures look great. Jack Burton's head sculpt could use some work though. Either way, bought on sight.

Yep. Bought on sight. I'll wait until series 2 to decide if I'll have a loose set. The line is nothing without Wang- the hero of the story. Needs:
- Egg Shen - The Beastman - The Green-Eyed Chinese Girl (Mao?) - Young Lo-Pan - Wang (of course) And they should make some detailed 6" while they have the rights.

The art work is awesome. The trick is finding them in stores that aren't bent or creased

I bet they dont have wang cause they couldnt get the likeness rights. They already have Russell's cause of the Lost in NY(LA) figures.

I used to think Rain was called Wind. He doesn't do anything water oriented but he flies through the air and shit, though Lightning was really the only one who actually used his namesake continuously.
I'd rather not see Funko do this license as a Legacy line, they don't do the faces on the GoT right so better to avoid the chance of messing it up.

Was there any indication that they'd do this as a Legacy Line?
I think the faces in GoT series 2 are actually pretty stellar by and large. Especially Jaime, that figure is the bees knees. Far and away my favorite fantasy figure ever. |

I like the GoT figures, but in general the faces could be quite better. Jaime does look like a good toy.

Those series 1 GoT figures are baaad though. Either they're weak sculpts or are ruined by all the paint that was caked on. |

Ah. Honestly with 6 inch figures I'm happy with a passable face. Of course that's a bit subjective, but, for example, I didn't mind the SW Black Han's face at all. In fact, I was impressed by it, until a review I read mentioned how soft it was. I don't really have much of an eye for it past "this looks like that character".
Those series 1 GoT figures are baaad though. Either they're weak sculpts or are ruined by all the paint that was caked on. The only series 1 GoT I picked up was the Hound, the rest looked so bad. The Hound's armor is pretty nicely done but his face is so so so sad, good thing he has a cool helmet. The Walgreens Tyrion is better than the original, but he still has hints of Michael C Hall's face.

Whew, this got off topic. |
