Wow, that Luke looks wayyy better than the test shots from the summer. Restored my faith. Obi wan is still a bit weak tho. Bring em on!

I'm disappointed Kenobi doesnt have his robe, considering Maul had his.
Is this a 3 man wave?

Kenobi is the first true pass for me of the 6" BS line. The other 2 are outstanding. Might have to grab 2 Stormies.

Something about Kenobi does seem weird and I'm surprised he didn't come with his robe and the Magnaguard staff thing.

For $20, they all should come with more. Luke should have some Dagobah stuff (lantern, crate, something) or a battle damaged head. Obi should have a either a robe, Magnaguard staff, blaster, something. If they did it with Maul, Han Solo, and Sandtrooper, they can do it with this wave. |

I will definitely snag Luke whenever I see him. As for the others, probably pass. At $20 a pop, I have to be very picky with this line.

I was all in for Waves 1 & 2. This wave I'll be picky. Hasbro better tread lightly. They've had 2 solid waves. This better be a slight dip and not a trend, especially if they double pack Obi (which would be case suicide).

Found someone else saying it, though no "official" confirmation anywhere I can find:

Well, from this very site, Hasbro released photos of wave 3 at Star Wars Celebration Germany and no Anakin listed, shown or mentioned.
Star Wars Black Series Wave 3 6 Inch - The Toyark - News My guess is he's out. They have in package shots of the other 3. If he's being released, I doubt it's this wave. I'm glad. One PT figure per wave is enough for me. Last edited by BEAM; 10-30-2013 at 12:16 PM.. |

That Luke looks great. May have to be my first SW Black purchase.

Yeah, they announced Ep 3 Anakin at NYCC, but, didn't say what wave he would be in. And in all press for Wave 3, including these press shots, we only see 3. It's possible Anakin is the 4th, but I would really prefer 2 Troopers. I think a lot of folks would be happy with that. BBTS only lists pre orders from Hasbro when the official solicits go out, and I don't see Wave 3 listed yet, so no way to tell officially. In my limited research of the situation anyway.

They may have figured out the relative shortages of the sandtrooper warrants putting the stormie 2x to a case. While I know most people won't army build at $20, I can't imagine anyone not buying 2 or 3 at least.

^ I thought there would be a shortage of Sandtroopers, too, but I can't tell you how many times I've seen them in stores. I bought 5 of them and passed on many more. Maybe it's my area, but as long as this line continues to sell, I don't see there being a shortage of any figure really.
I will definitely be troop building the Stormtroopers. They look great. |

Low accessory count is really disappointing. Stormtrooper, whatever. Not much you can pack with him, but Luke and Obi Wan should've came with more stuff. I'm completist right now with this line, but if they keep this up I'll just pick and choose.

Luke and Obi-wan's heads look too small, especially Obi-wan.

And Greedo wasn't pointless. He was there to show the audience that Han was a badass. (H.S.F.)
