I like how her design looks realistic so that she can fit in the current black series of figures. Now all they need to do now is Captain Rex.

Rebels got me back into Star Wars after a many-year absence. If any other members of the cast get the six-inch Black treatment, I may be spending some more money in the near future.
Ahsoka looks nice. I know plenty of friends who'll go crazy for her. |

And still no Lando! Really glad that this is available for some of you guys who really did want this figure to happen, but I am still overall disappointed with Hasbro's weird/bad character selection for this scale. So I guess next we'll get all of the characters from Rebels too before we get a Lando or New Hope/Empire Leia.

I agree, she looks really cool and all, but still no Lando??, C-3PO??,
New hope Luke , Ben, or Leia???? Empire/Hoth Leia?? I know people don't want to focus on the Prequels but, .... Count Dooku??? Jango Fett??? Mace Windu?? a deluxe Gen. Grievous with cloak and 4 lightsabers??? I know they are already doing Force Awakens Black figures also, but if they are going to do anything from an animated source they need to do Clone Armor Obi Wan, Rex, and ARC Trooper, and Asajj Ventress and Savage Opress. |

At the end of the second to last season Ahsoka left the Jedi order so there would be no troopers around her to have executed the order. Thinking about it now though, she probably has to die or something before Rebels is all said and done. We don't hear about any Jedi doing anything during A New Hope so either she ends up dying or being removed from the equation by the OT.

I'm unreasonably excited about this figure !
I have mixed feelings about both The Clone Wars and Rebels (so far), but I really like Ahsoka Tano. Although I personally think that she pales in comparison to other notable female Jedi, like Aayla Secura, I still think that she is a great addition to the Star Wars Universe. But still, I have to agree with En Sabah Nerd that soooo many other characters, like Lando, specifically, deserved 6" Black figures first. Even so, I'm still thrilled about this figure

I know that I am in the minority, and will probably be lambasted for this, but for me, Lando screams peg warmer. I keep hearing about this character and that character deserving a figure, but honestly, the only figure that is sure fire needed for the Black Series at this point is C-3PO. The fact that he has gone this long without being made has me scratching my head.
Not saying that Lando is a terrible character, he's not, but is he an A-list character that needs to be made? I personally don't think so. He would be right up there with Bossk or IG88, cool character no doubt, but kinda second tier when placed in the company of Windu, Jango, Padme, Grevious, old Kenobi, Dooku, 3-PO, and yes...Ahsoka, all characters I'd rather see first. Truthfully, if we want to see some of these characters in the future, then Hasbro needs to start increasing the size of waves from 4 figures to 6 or 8 a wave, and scale back on feeling the need to offer one or two repacked or repainted clone or stormtroopers in every wave. |

They should increase the case sizes anyway, these things are way too hard for me to get a hold of.

It is not that I WANT Grievous to be a deluxe figure, I just EXPECT him to be one. If they could get him in a regular package that would be great but I would expect him to not have his cape and only 2 lightsabers if that happens. Right now I am worried if they will even continue doing deluxe figures. I know Luke/Wampa and Han/TaunTaun are coming and I hope they really sell better than the Speeder Bike and Jabba did. If retailers have to mark down the deluxe again like the Bike and Jabba, I think it could end the deluxe Black figures.

The worst part about the de-canonization of the old Expanded Universe is that I highly doubt we'll get a Mara Jade in this scale. At least Ahsoka looks great so far, hopefully the paint job won't screw the pooch.

Tastes vary, and I wonder how much the interest expressed on these discussion boards really corresponds to broad market interest at retail. For example, Greedo may have a few fans, but he's the most conspicuous shelf warmer in my area, collecting dust for months now. Also, it's interesting to note how much time has passed without any new 6" stock on Canadian store shelves. I wonder if sales for the last wave were a disappointment, or there is some cross-border issue.
The arrival of a 6" Asoka gives me hope for a similarly detailed 6" version of Sabine. Last edited by Skoob; 04-16-2015 at 06:46 PM.. |

I didn't mean to single out anyone or any character. It's just a general observation. Anyway, we can be sure that the toymakers conduct their own surveys and keep their own market research in-house. Still, one wonders at some production decisions.

She is number one at the top of my wish list, with Grand Admiral Thrawn (who I know has no chance EVER of getting a 6" Black figure) at number two.
