Really? From what i gathered the only stuff cannon is the stuff set durng the movies, like novels games n comics. Even the cn star wars toon is cannon ala rebels using ashoka thus confirming much speculation as to whether or not the clone wars toon will beblept as cannon. Since hett aurra sing and cyborg maul and others created were set in the confines of the movie verse and neither before nor after the movies it was believed they are cannon. I thought that disney just eliminated all of the eu stuff after jedi so they could set things up for a torch passing from the old cast to the new?

Ah, don't even get me started on the Outrider. It might be my favorite Star Wars vehicle. I was hoping for an update for it and Dash both in the 3.75" scale for a really long time.
Revan, Bastila and Dash Rendar may be my top 3 most wanted 6" figures. Starkiller (with a decent Sam Witwer head sculpt for once, please) would probably be #4. #5 is reserved for a Republic Commando box set with Sev and the rest. NONE of them are likely to happen, because technically none of them are canon characters anymore. Boo. Ahsoka was #6, though, so at least that's happening. I would really dig a 6" Revan for sure, granted it's super unlikely. Malak would also be nice, we'd get the master and his friend/apprentice/usurper.

I will defend Revan and Bastila as arguably canon, and not just because I love KOTOR and those two in specific. KOTOR is set thousands of years prior to any of the movies and it was never connected to the franchise beyond name and setting, also unless Disney feels like telling a story set thousands of years in the past that couldn't possibly link to anything else then I'd say KOTOR is fairly isolated/safe. The fact Disney hasn't shut down The Old Republic mmorpg gives me the liberty to say it still counts as canon in my book.
I would really dig a 6" Revan for sure, granted it's super unlikely. Malak would also be nice, we'd get the master and his friend/apprentice/usurper. So basically, they're head canon. Honestly, my love of Star Wars stems mostly from the games and a few comics and novels. The movies make up a comparatively small portion of my fandom for the franchise. And you know what, whether the character was intended to be or not, I like to think Kylo Ren's design is a nod to Revan. That's good enough for me, at the moment anyway. For that reason, I'm looking forward to an action figure of that character. |

That's precisely why I'm not too bothered about any new "official" timeline. As far as I can figure, the only way KotOR could be totally eliminated is if one of the new movies somehow entirely contradict Jedi or Sith lore that was established in those games. I'm not even sure if it's possible, my memory regarding what was covered in those games is now foggy (which means it's time for another playthrough) but that's the only way I could see.

ETA for Ahsoka and Kanan has been pushed back to sometime next month (March 2016). Since the period from 'first glimpse' to 'release' is 12 months (early April 2015 to March 2016), we might guess when the next wave (Sabine and friends) will hit retail: Oct 2015 ('first glimpse') + 12 months = Late September 2016.
Leaving slack for inevitable complications, it's reasonable to throw in a few extra weeks and hope for the next wave to reach retail around late October-early November 2016 - just in time for Christmas! What a coincidence. Last edited by Skoob; 02-25-2016 at 12:25 AM.. |

May be April on that new case assortment but I just got my Ahsoka and Kanan from BBTS from the first case assortment. Got the Ahsoka review up in the SW Appreciation thread now.
