Hoping that's not the final for Gosling...it's like as if someone took a police suspect sketch of Gosling and then made a figure from it.

Ryan's head actually sculpt looks better than Ford's in the unpainted stage.

Well the sculpt in the new pics looks like Gosling to me. Maybe it's the paint job? Anyway, Blade Runner was a masterpiece and I see no reason for a sequel. The only thing that would excite me is merchandise of the original movie.

I'm going to be at NYCC tomorrow and Friday, so I'll stop by and check it out. I assume it's a gun or something.

Given that NECA likes to experiment with the color palette on variants, it would be cool if they tried versions of these that were influenced by the neon lighting of the film, or some of the other visually interesting scenes

I've got both K and Deckard and they turned out fantastic. The film was amazing, I'll def be grabbing Niander and Luv. Hope they do Sapper and Joi, and hopefully do figures from the original film.

After watching the film I really wish we got Joi in series 2. I'm not too confident neca will even release series 2, let alone more. And I enjoyed the character joi far more than Luv. Glad to see Wallace being made though. Hoping they release more figures from both movies.

Hmm, I'm guessing since NECA is teasing wave 2, that if it does make it to completion, might be a few months at least before these are released? I hope we get waves 3 and 4, I want JOI, Sapper, would love variants of Deckard and K (especially one with K and his coat collar up around his face). Blade Runner 2049 was amazing, I need everything from it.

That's too bad. But, I'm super pleased with what we've gotten so far so I'll just have to be ok with that. I think Joi would be a good figure in terms of variants, could easily just do a translucent version to mimic the holographic aesthetic. Guess I am already thinking about SDCC exclusives. Film is currently bombing here so I'll be grateful if wave 2 does get released.

Sighs, NECA really loses me in their lines with character selection. I didn't pick up the alien covenant wave of figures because they didn't make any of the human(or android) characters, and I probably won't pick up these 2049 figures since they wont be making all the key characters. Joi had a pretty big role in the movie and not making her really makes the line feel incomplete.

That Ryan Gosling headsculpt pics kinda remind me of the alien guy from American Dad. LOL.
Saw Blade Runner 2049 though and didn't like it... so that pretty much killed my enthusiasm for anything Blade Runner related that isn't a Spinner. And I remembering thinking Ana de Armas was the most beautiful girl ever when I first saw her in Hands of Stone, but I realized that spell has worn off now that I see her again in Blade Runner. LOL. Still sad the only way you can get a Joi figure is Funko Pops though. |

I picked up the Deckard figure over the weekend, the movie was great but I don’t know if I will get K and Luv as well. I would have preferred a more iconic look for Deckard, but at least he has the trademark gun. And the Harrison Ford likeness is fantastic.
One of the pegs that attaches the leg to the pelvis is deformed, so the leg fell out immediately after opening and won’t stay on. I haven’t had too many breakage/QC issues with NECA despite owning about 100 of their figures. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Luckily I have not had any QC issues with my Blade Runner figures. I've actually had really good luck with NECA overall. I've read and seen a bunch of QC issues though, and it seems to be very hit or miss and across all sorts of their lines. Im always extra careful with their xenomorphs.
