Why do the SW figure kits have license approval signs when they've been available for years?

What even is this!? The way in which they pose the DBZ figures is just hilarious. Roshi doesn't have the straps on his turtle shell, but the worst part is the new Buu figure, for it isn't the one previously shown, the new "belly sculpt" is just horrible.

wow! Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat figures are so good! Give me Goro and all the ninjas! Transformers made me love repaints of the same mold so I welcome the repaints. Talk about getting the most out of your mold.

That. Goro. Will. Be. Mine.

Also, holy crap they're showing the character art for SF2. I guess people bitching about sunflower Akuma pushed them to do more classic looks :P

"Also on display is their Mike Tyson 1/12 scale figure."

Cool. I was wondering about that because I saw Amiami has Tyson listed at 1/10 scale...about 7 inches. I take it then 1/12 is Storm's version of that scale.

Shot in the dark, but does anyone know if the Iron Studios 1989 Batman statue is still happening? I feel like it was first displayed at last year's Toy Fair but I haven't seen anything on it since.

Oh man, I've been hoping for a full line of 6" Injustice figures, but wasn't really expecting anybody to actually go ahead with it. Storm is gonna kill it with this line!

Re: model kits - they are on display because they are going to be officially available in the United states. Prior to this they were all imports. Not sure what old prices were but I'd also assume cheaper than import prices.

Too bad Storm can’t make more classic characters. We really don’t need anymore Ryu figures for the next 10 years, but they announced another one. Yeah he sells good, but there isn’t much of a choice when that’s all they make. Give us Vega and Blanka already. This license must be a nightmare to deal with.

So far these model kits being available is probably the most exciting for me. I love them and it's so weird they went from being black listed from even the grey area of importing, since you can't buy direct from a seller like Amiami/HLJ for years, to now just being fully available.

I think that's a big step for the Star Wars license especially since they have the face printed Luke and Han Stormtroopers coming.
