Can't wait to get Bruiser. I hope we get Bruce at some point too.
Does anyone who has the Toad Trooper also have the original Toad Air Marshall figure? As I noticed in the slot for the Troopers helmet there is also a hole which looks like it could fit the Air Marshalls hat. Not sure if this is deliberate or not. I have the Air Marshall but I glued his hat on years ago to stop it keep falling off so can't try it myself. I love how these new figures scale pretty well with the originals and even the card backs are the exact same size as the originals so old and new collections look quite uniform together. |

I know it's a small company and production is dependent on how well these sell, but I wish they'd churn out more than one or two figures every 4-6 months. It's a real slow crawl to grow this line, and I'm worried we may never get the rest of the primary characters like the Toad Air Marshall, Blinky, Dogstar, or Willy. I appreciate them doing Mimi La Floo, a character that wasn't in the original toy line, but with the uncertainty of this line's future, I think prioritizing main characters like Toad Air Marshall should have come before someone like Mimi.
And what happened to doing 3-figure waves like with the first 2 waves? I know Bruiser is a special case because of his deluxe size, but the so-called regular 3rd wave consists only of one figure (the Storm Toad Trooper), when ideally it should have also included 2 other figures too like the Toad Air Marshall and Blinky. I wonder if Mimi La Floo will be another one-figure wave too when (or if?) she ever comes out. Last edited by ShabbyBlue; 05-14-2019 at 12:25 PM.. |

these are hands down some of the greatest toys of all time.
the sculpts, the paint work, the accessories, the articulation (for the most part) are transcendent. BFS are artists and this is obviously a labor of love. I never played the game, bought the toys, or read the comic. i don't even think i remember bucky ohaire at all anywhere. but i buy these because of the love in them. |

Wait, I thought Jenny was already the first character in the line to never have an original figure?

The prototype for Jenny's figure (along with several other new characters like Rumble Bee) was tooled up for production as part of series 2 before the line was canceled. Mimi never even made it that far.

I guess the pre-order sold out. Can't find it anywhere on the site.

Ugh, this company moves at such a snail's pace with this line. Will it be another 1-2 years before we get Mimi Lafloo? It's going to take forever to get anymore characters after that at the rate they are going, assuming anything more is planned. I'd just like to get the rest of the main characters please!

Bruiser is awesome!
Hoping to see Blinky and Willie too! I don't mind it takes a long time between releases, as long as they are being released |

It is a snail pace, oof...the threads started in 2017. It’s kinda painful....
HOWEVER!!!!! So far the QC has been exceptional for a smaller company. The sculpting, details, all that, amazing. Not just okay but truly amazing. Like, definitive collection stuff. They have done this amazing thing where I look at their toys and they remind me completely of the toys as a kid. So much so my brain will think, “they are so similar, do I need it?” Then I get the toys in hand, with the old ones, and compare them, and there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE. The new ones are the perfect upgrade to everything. I would rather it take as long as it does to keep the quality high. The toys pretty much last forever. They put in the extra time because maybe they realize that. Don’t rush it guys, so far the figures are AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING. Keep it that way. It’s a small line of figures too. There’s no rush to get to figure #100. Can’t wait for bruiser to finally come!!! EDIT: Just noticed this..... They changed the final ALT HEAD??? Did I miss an update??? It looks like it might be a real "angry" shouting type expression. If so.... I'M SO HAPPY WITH THAT!!! I don't want to speak to soon but the prototype open mouth happy face did nothing for me......the pre-production was a bit better but still a little off. Maybe the third try is just right!!
