The wrapping paper is the best part about this to be honest, the figure is super lame. A new hat and a repainted sword… wow

Eh I kind of like it but it's too bad you have to tear up all that lovely Earl Norem art to get to the figure.

Yeah, wow. This is pretty disappointing. The figure is not that great, and you'd really have to buy 2 if you wanted to keep the paper intact (assuming, of course, that Super7 actually packages it well enough that the paper isn't shredded upon arrival). So, about $80 with shipping? Bah,humbug.

I must admit I want this but over a month after they said I would receive my Laughing Prince Adam, I am still waiting for it and being told they have not even shipped it yet. I am not wanting to get burned again by paying for something and getting nothing.

I personally like it but i bought all 4 of the exclusives. The 3 con exclusives and Laughing He man plus every figure from the Mattel & Super7 MOTU FILMATION toylines except Trapjaw and Stridor. So i may get 1 but im not sure |

Can't say you're wrong about that, but I do think this is a rather weak release.
If they made the full costume Santa He-Man / Adam from the Christmas special, that would've been cool. But just the hat and a sword in candy cane colors? The idea is nice and clearly some passion went into it, the wrapping paper and the Christmas-themed packaging are both excellent, but the figure itself could've been better IMO. |

I think its kinda cool, although, I think they should have put pre-orders up a while ago, but then again these guys are usually late with all their orders. It would be cool if it came with a Christmas Skelator

As a casual observer to the MOTUC line, the collectors do complain a lot. But it seems like both Mattel and Super 7 have given them plenty of legitimate things to gripe about.
I look at this release and think "the heads should be easily removable" (apparently they aren't anymore) and this Santa He-Man head could've been part of a new head accessory set or packed with that Ultimate Filmation He-Man. On the hand this will appeal to some people as a one-off holiday special. |

That said, I may throw down for the upcoming He-Man/Skeletor/She-Ra releases, if only because my 80s toy display would seem a bit lacking without at least a few key MOTU figs. But I'm not expecting much, quality-wise. |

I did manage to order one. Took my time, though. There were 3000 of them and they weren't moving that quickly, I thought.

I got one. I haven't decided if it's a Christmas present for me, or my newly into MotU daughter.

Mine is coming tomorrow. I hope the wonky eye isn't a widespread problem.

The lighting in these photographs makes the paint look better than what I saw in video reviews. I'm hoping he looks good/decent in hand as I already ordered the Ultimate Filmation He-Man & Skeletor since its was either spending $82 or the $200+ on Ebay.

I've only been a toy collector for about 8 months now & a lot of the MOTU stuff seems to suffer from poor decisions or quality control issues. It's a real pain for newcomers as many main characters are way overpriced for what they can offer in terms of articulation & such. Many MOTU figures are in the price range of Storm Collectibles or Yamuguchi Revoltech yet don't offer the same benefits of effect pieces, swap-able hands, figure stands, multiple heads/expressions, etc. I like the characters of MOTU but I wish they were affordable retail releases like Marvel Legends.
