Hi all, I happen to be in the Chester County (Rt. 322), PA Wally World on Sunday and picked up two (one to customize) of the Wolverine XM Origins: Colossus figures so I guess they are out. The Wally World computer didn't have them listed though so I had to go pull a tag from another figure which may mean it was a mistake they were out.
Thought I'd let the MU/Wolvie hunters know. By the way, the figure sucks compared to the SHS version. It is very short and looks more like Marvel's Hammerhead gangster guy. If you can get the SHS version I'd recommend it. |

Damn. It's too bad he is so short. But he still looks pretty bad ass. I'll be on the lookout for him now.

Wow. He should be taller than sabertooth. Bummer, I was really wanting that fig. There is always hope for him to be included in the MU Secret Wars line.

On a semi-related note, is the Blob/Sabretooth 2-pack in stores yet? I haven't found it anywhere.

Hmmmm, shortness aside he's really not a bad figure. I'll still pick him up as a placeholder for a better version in the future, that is if there is one.

I saw the sculptor's prototype pic: Paul Harding Studios: Colossus
Its very nice indeed. I think it could have been 1/4 taller but maybe he was under size restrictions from line management. If the eyes weren't painted so dark, I think it would have been alot better looking. Still going to try to find one though. Oh, and the hammer should have been a lamp post or I-beam (like the forthcoming Luke Cage's). |

Superhero Showdown. It was a line of 3.75" Marvel figures made by ToyBiz. They used the action figures as game pieces for a battle game.
You can find some more info on them at http://www.toymania.com/columns/spot...showgame.shtml |

Not to be confused with Superhero Squad which is a current line Hasbro started in 2006 in which the figures are about 2" tall and look child-like.
You just have to guess the context in which SHS is used |

Caught it Monday night. It's on from 2 to 3 pm Central time tomorrow and then again Sat. morning. It's pretty good all things considered. Though they really "generalized" all the characters personalities.
