For all things comic books, post here your thoughts about new series, old series, series you wish they'd make.post your hypothetical questions like who would win Mr.Fantastic or Plastic man.anything about comics.
Did anyone get the Flash ring that came with Flash #1? i got it and i like it better than all the lantern rings, because its thinner so its more wearable. |

Invincible Iron Man #25 I just don't like where they are taking Ironman. Ironman is my favorite superhero. Mostly because of the High Tech Suits. There isn't even a Hall of Armor anymore. He blew up or trashed all his old suits. I really hope they make Tony Stark normal again, so I can enjoy reading the comics again. I'm tired of the writers turning him into some sort of a super-powered cyborg.

Rhodey got a new clone body. Even when he was a cyborg, his suit was still separate. I'm just going to stick with the Ultimate Universe for a while. The Main Universe is just to confusing. I do like Pepper Potts new suit the Rescue. Hope we get a Marvel legends of her. Or Bethany Gabe, she's wearing a female version of the War Machine armor. I think.

Dibny is like third smartest Detective(I think someone may have mentioned it somewhere in DCU) in DCU, and is just generally a neat character. He lacks the douchiness of Reed and the retardedness of Plastic Man.
Identity Crisis is a great, albeit really sad story highlighting a portion of Elongated Man's life, as well as 52 which spotlights him again. |

ToyArk really needs a seperate subforum for just Comic threads. (Maybe even 3: Marvel, DC, & Other...)

Yea, I know, but there's an uber-large comic book fan-base here, especially with all these Marvel/DC toys. GI Joe and Transformers also have comics. I personally think it would just be natural to have a subforum under "Off Topic" for Comic Discussion. Maybe it's just me, lol.

I disagree, I think Batman is just brutally honest, while Reed comes off as a douche. Superman is the boy scout, while Batman is the brutally honest, average guy with no super powers but is the master detective.

I guess what I'm saying is that all comic book characters are douches, each in their own way. |

Rescue needs a figure badly. And I wish marvel would explore the possibilities of female armored heroes in more varied styles.
There are many aesthetics that could create limitless potential for stories and action. Especially if hailed from the BGC school of designs and precision instead of flight. I love rescue's design and all as a female iron man, but that's my problem with the design too, it's too Iron Woman. I'm still glad she's around though, hopefully it'll trickle over so we'll see Crimson Dynama, Titanium Gal, or even a female darkhawk armor or stingray. Heh, Stilt Woman. |
