Custom Black G1 Seeker

This was made from original G1 parts from Skywarp, Thundercracker, Ramjet and Thrust.

No paint was done on this custom, everything is factory parts.

The end result turned out to my liking, but I don't have a name for him yet.

have patience, look for parts lots with the parts you need, it is a fairly easy custom, as long as you don't mind taking them apart.

I had a parts lot, and I also used a complete Skywarp, the main things came from him.

The only pain was taking off 25 year old stickers

I've got a complete Skywarp reissue and almost complete Ramjet I'm gonna use to get started. Thank goodness Ramjet doesn't have any of his original stickers left. That sounds like a pain.

you already know I like this one, bud. hehehe Only thing I would do differently is use very sparse dark colored paint aps to simply break it up so it doesn't look unfinished, and that is it.

I love it.

Thanks for the comment. I do like him unfinished, since it is sorta like a prototype if you will, but I am running the idea of some subtle red/silver paint apps, as well. gotta get him some eyes

Pretty sweet. Sound right up my alley as far as customs go - taking things apart and putting them back together are fine, but paint apps are another animal.

My suggestion for a name would be Nightstorm. Or you could honor those that gave their sparks so that he might live: Skyram Thunderthrust, the Ultimate Seeker!
