#5 | Visionaries was a cartoon from the 80's which only ran for 13 episodes, which is why i guess it isnt very well known. In the series there was a group of knights of the spectral light (good guys) and darkling lords (bad guys). A wizard named Merklyn granted them special powers which they could access by saying a special poem. These powers were represented with a hologram on their weapon/shield and their chestplate. the chestplate power could enable them to change their form, and the one on their weapon was a super powerful weapon. Once they used their power, it had to be replenished by merklyn - who had them doing errands/missions.
My mind is a bit hazy - havent watched the cartoon in a long time | Join Date: Oct 2008

#7 | | I loved this show and the figures. Cindarr was my absolute favorite. He battled many a GI Joe, and won every time. | And then there's Maude! Join Date: Oct 2008

A lot of really good DVDs and sets are released in Region 2. I probably will end up getting a multiregion player so I can get all the good stuff not released Region 1. | Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Miami, FL

#15 | | A freakin' dollar for those figures?! I wish I had a time machine. The best part of the Visionaries line IMO was the packaging. I love the blister card art. | Decepticon Assault Team Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Rock Hill, SC

#18 | Very badass. Those are beautiful pieces, man. I had Leoric, Cryotek, Arzon, Darkstorm, and Cravex. None of the vehicles, though, as TFs and GI Joe were taking up my interest.
I would love to have these MOSC and MISB now. Are they expensive? Also, they need to bring back this line! Of course the quality wouldn't be as good, but it would be cool to see them again. Does Hasbro still own this line?

It seems almost every toy from the 80s is hard to collect in mint condition.
I'll ask around to see if anybody has any Visionaries for sale.
The cartoon was one of my favorites! I'm so glad I have them on DVD!

Did Visionaries have a cartoon to accompany it?
