Yup. This will be mine.
Maybe the retail version if I can't get this one out the US for a decent price. |

Holy shit, this is incredible. I've had the Mezco comic Hellboy figures on display for years, this will be their replacement. I must have this.

Rumor is this will be $120, but Dark Horse hasn't confirmed just yet.

It looks great. I usually love articulation but I would wish they'd rework the right hand of doom a bit to hide all those joints.

From what I understand this guy is from 1000Toys so there's that.
Pretty good price if it turns out to be true. |

Awesome, but the right hand of doom looks very rough. The joints make it look like a robot hand. I wish it was either done by molding all fingers together and have the connection between the fingers and the hand hinged to allow for a cleaner look, or a swap-out molded hand without any articulation.
But that’s just me nitpicking, because I waited a long time for a Hellboy figure like this and it looks amazing. I thought Mezco would be the ones to do it but this looks ace regardless. Never heard of 1000toys either, but I'm glad that they will apparently offer this on their own as well because Darkhorse Direct isn’t shipping outside the US. |

I could have let it slide, if it was cheaper. EDIT: Seeing it's prototype, maybe they will change the hand and that disgusting knee joint.

Really ugly joints, but I simply can’t skip over a Hellboy toy of this magnitude; good old Red isn’t getting a whole lot of figures these days. |

The head sculpts look PERFECT. Don't you agree? I'm betting that Mezco gets the licence for a new, improved cinematic version. It will be interesting to compare and contrast. Last edited by Skoob; 07-18-2018 at 01:29 PM.. |

I ll buy it 100% but godamn these fingers remind me of robots made from lego parts and these joints. A baby kangaroo could jumb in there and sleep. Cmon 1000toys please fix these 2 things .
The problem with 1000toys is that they are slow, i mean, i do not want to sound wrong, i am still waiting for the rest figures from Blame! So i imagine that this one is going to be a stand alone release unless they decide to dedicate and creat a line after new HB movie gets released. |

^That. I really want this to be good. It already looks better than anything else to date. We've waited 25 years for a good Mignola Hellboy figure; we can wait a while longer for them to do it well.

If this is true I will be so happy as I looooove neca, however I've got at least 20 mezco hellboy figures and I really don't have any complaints, whoever has/gets the license, I just hope they do many characters and plenty of articulation.

I don't mind the fingers but geez the knees are rough. Looks like they're a single hinge too so no playing to hide that. But man its almost perfect otherwise

Pre-orders from Darkhorse Direct are up, 120$.
https://direct.darkhorse.com/product...-action-figure Does anyone have more info on the retail version 1000toys mentioned? I know it won't come with Excalibur and the horned head but it's my only option, Darkhorse won't ship outside the US. Will 1000toys themselves offer it through their webshop? |

That's about what we figured, and I'm happy at that price. My only hope is that the knees are improved.
Also just noticed the thumb on the gripping hand has a little swivel joint so you don't have to bend the plastic. Looks like a nice solution |

I think both Mezco, Neca, and Graffiti designs have taken different swings at a comic Hellboy

So, for those living outside of the US: The regular retail release of Hellboy will be available starting today, June 30th.
Strangely enough, even though 1000toys confirmed that the "Beast of the Apocalypse" head won't be included it actually seems to be, you get the angry head but not the long horns. So you get everything from the exclusive version except the horns and Excalibur. I can live with that. So far I've only seen HLJ put it up and it's rather pricey considering what 1000toys said the retail version would cost, so I'll wait a few days and see which other stores will offer the figure. https://hlj.com/product/1ty39113 EDIT: Other places like AmiAmi, Amazon.jp and Anime-Export have him as well, I pre-ordered mine just now.
