Ahh we understand now.
So were there no problems when you ordered the GL two pack? we've never ordered there before until today when we bought the new two pack. |

So mad that I could have just bought from that website instead of evilbay. I had no idea graphitti designs would be offering online at all. Were these that unpopular at NYCC that they were able to sell on their website?

I already have one. Just wished I knew about it beforehand. Can't believe these didn't sell out. Guess all the talk about QC issues must've diminished the interest. Psssh maybe I just got so used to having to fix Hasbro QC issues on their MU line that it just didn't phase me with these 2-packs.

So if we ordered it today on a tuesday, maybe we'll get on Friday.

From what I'm told, nearly all DC Collectables Con exclusives make their way to the site.

Is that right? Huh, good to know. I just figured that they were only selling leftovers that they couldn't sell at the con. This gives me more hope that I can collect all the remaining 2-packs for a regular price and not inflated ebay prices.

!@#$ING SON OF A !@#$%!!!!
Our Kilowog's arm just broke off, and it looks impossible to fix! and we also tried to put it in warm water to remove the broken peg, but all that did was remove the gloss from the green paint!! |

I know this doesn't really help now, but with my first set of these guys my kyle's right arm broke at the bicep and I was equally pissed but luckily I managed to fix it recently and give him to a friend. Bought myself a new set off Graphitti's website and the first thing I did was run a hairdryer over both Kyle and Kilowog several times and it seems to have made the plastic a little more "malleable" and not damaged the paint or anything in the process. The clear plastic they use for the figures joints is pretty fragile and I've found a few things (in my opinion) that everyone should know when handling these figs.. -when moving their arms, try to grip the shoulder instead of the bicep or hand. - Their arms are both pretty restricted compared to other 3 3/4" figures, for some reason the right (ring) arm seems to have a little more in and out motion compared to the left (which on Kilowog you can actually see the point it comes to that stops the shoulder from going any higher) -If the joint feels like its stuck at all, hairdry it! Then work it around when its still rubbery to make sure it won't get stuck again once it hardens up. Hope this ^ helps. Not trying to be a "know it all" here, just wanted to share some tips I've found that have kept my second set of figures from breaking.

but it doesnt help with the broken set because its already broken and we screwed up the paint, and..........the Kilowog and Kyle set is no longer on GD website.............ISN"T THAT MOTHER!@#$ING PERFECT!?!?!?!?
So now we're screwed! If we can't fix him we'll probably just make Kilowog into a !@#$ING PIECE OF !@#$ BLACK LANTERN!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *runs away screaming holding back tears* |

Thanks for those wonderful tips Mastersteef! I haven't opened mine yet because I'm waiting til more are released, but at least now I have some idea of how to safeguard these from breaking once I do.

Got my two-pack. They're both nice but John looks a bit generic in the face and his giant barrel chest seems ill-fitting.

We got our set on Saturday.
Both John and Atrocitus have tight joints, we tried heating them with a blow dryer, and we even put oil on the joints. But the shoulders still feel like they can break at any second. What now? |

These came today. Very happy with Atrocitus. John Stewart is a little ho-hum.
The back of the box shows that Guy Gardner and Larfleeze will be the next pack coming soon (doesn't say when soon is...). Very excited for that pack as well.
