So the 3.752 figures have clear plastic joints as well. What is DCD's deal with the clear plastic? Is it cheaper to produce or something? Or they secretly like seeing us cry?

Darn you sealed package collectors!!! Mastersteef I'm glad that someone tried this. I was thinking of doing the same thing to my figures. The joints are pretty stiff. My Stewart's ankles have too much paint on them that they are fused at the joint. Last edited by Autobot_Goldbug; 10-31-2012 at 12:03 AM.. |

Cool pics Gold Bug. I still wish they weren't 3.75 scale. The only thing they match is ARAG joes and other DC IH figs. I want to mix them with my Marvel Universe & Modern Era Joes. Why are all of the bad guys so tall yet humans not so much? That and the fact that they are breaking at an alarming rate keep me from wanting these. Maybe if they do any characters that are not Green lantern.

I don't think Rhode Island Comic Con would be the place to premiere an exclusive. They usually only do "big" cons.

Pretty much the only mucho exclusive cons are SDCC and NYCC. A few others like C2E2 or ECCC might have some minor ones. Someone can correct me... I've never been to a con.

Injustice Action Figures Let You Plan Superhero Fights in Your Bedroom
Looks like we're getting 3.75" Injustice: Gods Among Us figures. This makes me happy.

Big Bad Toy Store has the figures up here: DC Injustice 3.75" at BigBadToyStore
Upon closer examination, I'm not liking the figures a whole lot. I wish they would have gone for a traditional look for Wonder Woman. She's not even recognizable (braided hair, no gold bracelets/wrist bands, no classic color combination, is armor clad, no lasso, etc.) And not to be perverted, and the picture quality may just be poor, but is that a detail/embellishment over her hoo-ha? Yikes if that is a feature. |

It's usually not population of the area, it's the capacity of the con. SDCC runs about 125k and NYCC isn't too far behind. I think C2E2 and Dragon Con may fall into a category just below the two big cons. ECCC may leak into 8k to 10k range. The next SDCC is in July. |

These figs look to be decent quality for DC. I may actually get the Wonder Woman/Solomon Grundy pack (Im a huge Grundy fan and WW looks pretty cool too)...
I realize that these are DC Collectibles, but it still boggles my mind that Mattel doesn't realize the popularity of lines like MU & Star Wars and make better quality figs. If Dark Knight Rises had MU articulation I would have spent mega bucks instead of the bare minimum on a tumbler and the Battle for Gotham 5 pack...

I'm gonna wait for the pack to actually release, but if anybody wants the 3.75 Larfleeze now, here he is:

So the thread about the new Green Arrow Injustice figure got me thinking about how it's lame that the DC 3.75 my be getting better articulation and sculpts but aside from the Green Lantern ones a few posts back they have chosen relatively unknown variations on the character design and I wish that they change that soon.
The Injustice Green Arrow and Deathstroke: What I think they should look like: The articulation may be better but I think designwise Mattel was doing it better in the Infinite Heroes era. |

Oh I had no idea they were based on a game, that makes it a little better. I kinda thought they were just riffing on character design the way some toys do like orange Batmen and what not.
