Thank you. I put a lot of work into these.
For Metallo I used the spare head that came with Multiverse Black Mask. Does anyone know what that thing is supposed to be? From what I could tell it's just the same head with red eyes. As for Zod all I did was remove the cape and paint on the goatee. I never really felt like getting the non-armored version just to swap the heads. |

That's cool. Not sure if that's what that extra head is supposed to be or not. Oh well.
If it wasn't for the fact that the Wal-Mart by my grandma's had a few MoS Supermen for $2 I never would have done Bizarro. If they had the non-armored Zod I would've grabbed one too. Could've put the chains from the XMO Weapon X on him. The only other place I've seen MoS figures is Fred's and they want like $12 for them. That's just way too much. |

I don't understand the DC movie figures. Green Lantern had a waist joint, Dark Knight had knees, & Man of Steel had elbows, but not one had the other. Why, if they had the means, didn't they all have the waists, elbows, & knees?

I still wonder that myself. If they all had the same POA I wouldn't have had one problem with any of them. At least give them all the elbow joint. It's all I ask.
Yup. They also have figures from the 1st Thor, Cap, and Avengers movies for the same price. I have no idea why they're so expensive. |

After a few days of painting...so much painting...I finally finished adding some more Superman villains.
Zod and Doomsday are great but you've gotta have Lex in his warsuit. And Bizarro and Metallo have always been some of my favorites (plus they were easy to do). Now I need to track down a Darkseid and find something to work on and make Brainiac, Parasite, and Livewire. You need a real Zod!!! |

If I get a Multiverse Reeve Superman then I'll get that Zod. And if I can figure out a way how I'd prefer to make Brainiac from Superman: Brainiac. Or the S:TAS version. That one's awesome too.

Jeez.... got my Deathstroke fig in the mail today and I'm not a huge stickler on minor imperfections, but mine had some paint missing right where his mouth would be... I couldn't ignore it, had to go out and buy some paint to touch it up.. citadel paint ain't cheap. And I got paint on my work clothes.. then my wife left me... best day ever...

Thank you. Not sure why they needed to do the neck piece separately like that. Still I'll probably end up getting it because I love Batman Beyond.

I tried pulling the head off of the Multiverse Batman Beyond, but I was afraid of breaking it. Feels like it's on their pretty strong.

Because it's the same Arkham City Batman mold we've gotten since the beginning and if they didn't mold a separate overlay for the neck and traps he wouldn't have a neck at all.

Really angry at them shifting the scale up of DC Multiverse as soon as there were figs I wanted(TV Flash/Reverse Flash). At least I have the Injustice Flash which is close-ish.
Are there any 4" scale Poison Ivys that are in any way decent? She doesn't need to be posable(though pref. comes with cool accessories if she doesn't). Like I can't find anything. I don't understand why she gets the shaft. Aside from this - What's the best 4" scale Super-man, Green Lantern, Wonder-woman? I have one the Classic Womerwoman from DCIH which would be a good looking figure if it wasn't so skinny! The older Wonderwoman figure looks like a KO as do a lot of the early figs. |

Crap, that looks like it would have been one of the best figures.
What about not recent figs? |

I have all of the 4 inch superman figures. (only the main costume not variants). For 1/18 it's all Reeve's. Microman is a close second. The skin tone and paint apps are of otherwise it would be my top pick. Hal Jordan GL? probably the DC collectibles version. (Enjoy for the 30 seconds its intact) Wonder Woman is sounds like you have the best option already. |

I have a Microman Batman and it's a bit knobbly. Catwoman's better though I like the Injustice fig better.

As far as choices for those 3 I liked the DCIH First Flight GL that came with the movie a lot but I'm pretty sure it's tough to find these days. I think the DCIH WW is pretty decent. I had the one from the 6-pack with Max Lord and I thought it was great. Sadly the both got either messed up or lost somewhere. The WW from Injustice looks alright but I've heard some horror stories about breakages. If it wasn't for that I'd have gotten one by now and tried to paint her up a little to go for a more classic look. For Superman personally I like the MoS figure minus the wimpy cape. Not the most articulated but I think it works just fine. I gave mine a 1st movie Thor cape and made a few touch-ups that make him look more New 52. Honestly I think the belt makes all the difference. Otherwise the Injustice Superman is pretty sweet but a wee bit on the short side. |
