I don't understand how it can be like "Oh we can't do 3.75s in this license because someone else has it"
But then like 10 companies do the same license in 6 inch. (Seriously, if there's logic, I wanna know what it is)

So glad I can buy literally 5+ versions of the same characters from the same movie in the same scale!!!
Wish this would really hurt Mattel but since they have the typical stores locked down with merchandise its going to be the specialty companies like DC Collectables losing out here. even the Japanese figures have their own market to dominate. This situation is absolutely ridiculous. I have pretty much given up on hoping for a DC equivalent of Marvel Universe. Thankfully between what we have gotten from DC + Marvel Universe there is enough there to make a decent bench of DC customs fairly easy. im already finished with Batman, Ninja Bruce, Cass Batgirl, Ninja Cass, Catwoman, Lady Shiva, Zatanna, Helena Wayne Robin, Black Canary, Batwoman, Katana, Ra's al Ghul, Cheshire and Nightwing. It's actually worse that that. Mattel has the main license and the movie lic. Clearly DCC has the comic license (based on the new 52 figures they previewed) and Funko has a licence for tv figures. None of them have decicded 3.75 is worth it or shown anything new.

It does seem like the ends of days for 3.75" sometimes. I need to crack down on my customs since collecting is so slow. Also, I need to learn to shrink heads. |

Helena's head is Rey's from Force Awakens which worked perfectly, when I can get another Rey for cheap im probably using it again on a Artemis from Young Justice Yeah I need to get in on shrinking heads as well, have a Huntress ready to go but need either the DCC or DCUC head shrunken. Hmm...the Multiverse Arkham City Batman maybe but you'd need a different head. I'm using the Arkham Origins Batman.

That suit tho, even Afleck looks bothered. That is a good fill in, maybe file down the Bat ears and it looks practically identical aside from the lighter gray. I bet a simple sand down with sand paper and a black wash would make it looks spot on.

That's the Arkham anime one right? Came with Deadshot and Scarecrow? I figured before that'd be a good head for BvS Bats.

I'm pretty sure I have that head but how far I have to dig for it would probly take me past Lucifer's throne in hell and I'm just not ready to see my ex yet.

Sorry for the crappy image quality. I actually have him in storage and didn't notice his short ears. I think he was part of the Gotham Knights. |

Yeah Gotham not Arkham, sorry. All I remembered was that it was based on that anime anthology.

Marvel Universe Invisible Woman head(hair trimmed a bit), masking tape then added a very fine line of rubber cement painted black between the grey and white to fake an edge. Red circle i just dabbed the back of a paint brush in red then 'stamped' it on. Masking tape I have also found a very useful tool, if you cover it in a few layers of superglue it can make excellent parts of clothing. used it to make the center closure of Zatanna's shirt, as well as the edge's of Cheshire's robe and even her one sleeve. It's definitely my favorite.
I've changed mine up a bit though. I repainted the grey on his suit, gave him the cape from that Gotham Knight Batman, and popped on the Arkham Knight Batman head. Last edited by snake5289; 02-14-2016 at 09:16 PM.. |

Thanks guys, I'm no skilled artist. Some of you guys could pull this off easily and make it look spot on, I think the MU Hyperion makes for a great batman buck. This was just me screwing around at 2 am. That's why the bat symbol looks like Hellen Keller painted it.I still need to make a cape.
