Currently working on an Arkham-ish Robin but I have no idea what to do about the "R" on his chest. I'd never get it right if I tried to freehand it and I don't know of anything small enough to glue on.

Now there's an idea. I've got a friend that could probably make a good one for me.
Thanks a bunch. |

Here's a WIP shot. Put in some effort to make sure the red is as clean as I could get it.
Still need to paint some spots black, glue on the cape, and add the "R" on his chest but it's definitely come along nicely so far. |

I was thinking about some figures that can easily be made wth Boss Fight blanks. The Spectre can be done with the Infinite Heroes cape and head, a white BF blank, and a green BF blank. Here's the DCIH Spectre for reference.

Important note: The Spectre head is smaller than other DCIH heads to accommodate the hood of the cloak. It will not fit on any other size head. Tried it.

That sucks. I'm gonna look for a Joe head later that fits the look of the Spectre. The Spectre doesn't usually have a beard so I'm going to choose a head that doesn't have one. It'll make it easier since I'll only have to get it casted in white rather than getting it casted and painting the beard.

The paint job looks very clean. If I showed this picture to someone who wasn't familiar with the Nightwing figure and asked if there is any paint on the figures that it obvious I'm sure that the only thing they'll point out are the eyes on Batman.

Luke Skywalker Figure, Rebellion Comic Book #3, Star Wars The Legacy Collection I'm almost done I think except for the "R" which I'm going to try the stencil idea for. |

Thank you both. That's actually this Luke Skywalker from one of the comic packs with Injustice Nightwing's head.

I'm planning on getting the 3.75" DC Collectibles figures but it's a big risk with the expensive figures like the Green Arrow since they're known to easily break. Does anyone know of a way of reattaching any broken parts while retaining articulation if it ever happens?

None that I've tried. I can usually reattach broken limbs but they loose most if not all of the articulation.

I never saw that Luke in stores but I saw it on eBay some time ago for a good price and was originally going to use it as a suit for Starkiller from Force Unleashed but it was too small for my liking. Pretty much the perfect size for Robin though. Last edited by snake5289; 08-15-2016 at 01:41 PM.. |

Thanks again. Injustice Nightwing was turned into an MCU-esque Daredevil a while back so I had the head left over. Eh...If I had to guess I'd say yes but I'm probably not the person to ask that sort of thing. I'm terrible at this sort of thing. I can say that he's definitely shorter than Origins Batman.
I'll try to take a pic or two when I'm done to try and show how tall it is. |

You're kidding, right?
He's obviously more of a Street Fighter fan. ;-)

My SDCC Starro Flash came in the mail today! I'm extremely happy with it. It scales well with the figures when you take into consideration that Barry is young compared to the other heroes when he first started becoming a vigilante.

My Nolan Trilogy Bruce's came in the mail today. I'm really happy with how the paint apps turned out but I'm unfortunately in a predicament. The head doesn't fit on an average ball joint. I want to fit it on the Multiverse Bruce and the MU Chameleon buck. How do I go about making the head fit them? wording

You could always try using a slightly larger drillbit to make the hole bigger. That's what I usually do. Just be careful not to go too far or you'll have a hole in the top of his head.
Whatever could have given me away? You should see the Resident Evil side on the left. Quote:
