Okay, lemme tell ya about 2 fixes I had to do on Funko DC figures today:
First one: I got a Suicide Squad Underwater Batman in the mail today, and as the cape was hard as a rock, I had to grab his arm by the lower arm to move the shoulder. The moment I gave a slight pull, it snapped the elbow at the arm. Simply because the arm was frozen in place(once I managed to move the cape, though, it budged). The lower arm was still perfectly intact, thankfully, and all of the joint was still there, so I took a lighter, put the plastic NEAR the flame(accidentally put it in the flame at first, so now it has a singe there), and melted the two points back together solidly. I then just did some boil work to put the lower arm back on, and it was good as new, save for the burn(though it doesn't really matter since I'm gonna paint it anyway). Second one: My 66 Batgirl's right elbow has never set properly. I just couldn't get both parts of the lower arm to attach at the same time, so since I had the boiling water out anyway, I decided to try a complete removal of the peg and to reset it that way. However, I couldn't get it back together, so after a while, I just gave up, grabbed a toothpick, and stuck it through the hole as a placeholder...And it fit perfectly. The arm functioned just like the other arm. On a hunch, I decided to cut the toothpick down and what do you know? Perfectly functional. I've got some purple paint that I think can cover up the obvious color difference, but I think the reason that the actual peg doesn't fit is that it's probably a knee peg in an ELBOW. Obviously, I'm not gonna take out a knee to compare, but it seems probable.

I'm so glad they're not box exclusive.

I found this papercraft tv Batcave at AFT downloads. These are the only 2 pieces I have done so far. Thought I would shoot a pic to see how well they scaled.

Agreed. I'm not a Titans fan, so I'm probably only gonna get Nightwing, but the fact that Funko cares enough to make these figures common is just another example of how much they care about their customers.
Shweet. I hope Funko puts out a small Batcave set. Nothing huge, mind you, but some computers, a bookcase, and a desk with a batphone and Shakespeare bust would be an awesome set. Heck, you could even throw in Alfred for giggles.

Looking for some more papercraft pieces to populate my Batcave. I found the computer bank in a Dr Who set, the gray wall unit in a Frankenstein's Laboratory playset, and I made the black Power Unit from scratch in Paint several years ago but never had the chance to print one out and make it until now.

Nothing definitive, but from the video it sounds like it might be some kind of on-line deal. Possibly through Funko's store?? |

I thought I had seen a phone, so I took my 40% off coupon to Hobby Lobby and voila! Of course it is metal, so I have 2 options: repaint which means priming first, or make a mold and recast in resin as many as I want.

What are some other great alternative figures, for a Gorilla Grodd, Solovar, Ultra Humanite? The only thing I can think of is Neca Planet of the Apes Luca figure.
