The wait is over, it is FINALLY here! Pinmates Wayne Manor/Batcave playset has arrived (after taking 7 DAYS to make a 6 HOUR drive from Grapevine TX to my house ). This is an awesome playset. It comes with a solid wood Batmobile and pinmate figures of Batman and Robin very well packed in a 4 piece cardboard playset of Wayne Manor and the Batcave. My Batmobile came damaged thru no fault of Entertainment Earth or the carrier, who is not worthy, but as I did not get this for that and I am not waiting 4 weeks for a replacement, IDC! Now on to the good stuff. The playset is made from very sturdy cardboard and packs together like a Russian Nesting Doll, so well in fact that it is a pain to get each piece out of the one it is in due to the air pressure from how tight it is, and that with the heavy wood Batmobile inside of it. As you can see from the pictures this scale really well with the Funko Batman 66 figures. It has 2 slots that line up vertically as "batpoles" but look to be too small for the Funko figures. There is a sliding bookcase panel over them in the library. Both the front doors and Batcave entrances are perforated but I choose not to open them at this time.

I received supergirl today that I ordered via lockertoys. Surprising, she was not available at the hiya site. She is a wee lass. Wish her head size was slightly larger.
Flash I got from bbts a couple weeks ago and I'm very happy with. I'm with Ninjinister on disliking the design choice for the wrists. Wonder Woman was my least favorite. Enjoying the line overall. Hope they also bring us poison ivy, green arrow, and martian manhunter, and many others.

Wow. That’s disappointing - almost seems like a blunder at the factory. They aren’t remotely in the same scale. Hoping it’s not as extreme as your picture suggests!

Wonder Woman suffers the same problems and others like trying to get her to hold the buckler. I'm considering swapping heads, arms/or forearms and hands. I don't know if HIya is coming out with a better version. Attach a pic with different female figures and heads next to the Supergirl. Harley is the best of the females in this line so far. Marvel Universe figures had their proportion issues as well.

This my Supergirl fix. I just switched arms with a MU captain marvel and head swap with an extra Planet Green Valley Head. Next is painting which is the part I hate the most.

sorry that is a downgrade not an upgrade when you lose wrist articulation
I despise those later MU figures for that |

Aw... little me offends you my inferior, feeble attempt to make some for myself. My feel sad for you.

Just to clarify who I am and why I am here, and what I've observed during that short time. My initial intention was to see if I could connect with like minded people in enjoying the hobby of toy collecting. In professional career and family prior to this time left me little time for the hobby. Most of what I collected stayed in boxes. That situation changed when I loss my father and my mother's health decline to the point when she was not longer being able to care for herself, and of my siblings i was in the best position to take her in and become her primary caregiver. It gave me a new appreciation to the difficulties of families who take on this task. Even as a doctor, I didnot understand how difficult and isolating it could be to take on that role.
I customise figures and make dios for myself and don't intend to make it more than a hobby. I don't realy care about articulation in my customs because they mostly just end up sitting in a fix position in a display. The 3 3/4" forums tend to be relative quiet here. It's diffulty to really see how big a community there is. You usually see the same usernames. Ocassionaly, new names appear be most don't stay active for long. There seem to be alot of negativity. Disparging the interest, efforts or likes of others. Positivity appearing few sporative burst of sharing creativity. Not for one-upmanship, but in attempt to foster the same in others. Or with attempts to promote the genre or muster enthusiasm of some new products. That's all I have to say or share.

It is always going to be negative. If you don't like it, you can ignore it or pick fun at it. I prefer the latter. Even so I too can be negative, because people are never truly happy unless they have something to complain about, and right now we have a lot to complain about!

MM isnt in Injustice 2. I want tonseenthr big 4 that are in the game that we've never had figures of in this scale. Ivy, Cheetah, Manta and Brianiac. Still surprised we're getting Darkseid before Brainiac, the main villain in the game.
I'm a little concerned that as they haven't shown anything new since July and we dont know how long they have the license that we may not get them before the license runs its course. |

god a martian manhunter figure would be awesome, as incredibly unlikely as it is. the only ones we have are the young justice one (worst articulation ever?) and the cheesy silver age one from the Starro DCIH set.
Poor MMH, always getting shafted. Does anybody know of some quality customs out there? |
